Really lovely restaurant in Milan, we managed to get a lunchtime booking. We were in Milan for a couple of days and this spot was a great lunch place, would be great for dinner too I’d imagine. The vegetarian dishes were done really well, we ordered a few dishes that weren’t on the menu on the day. I’d highly recommend the vegetarian dishes for instance the artichokes and the carrots and pumpkin dish too. We had the fake Mont Blanc brownie for dessert.
We ordered about 7-9 dishes for 2 people including soft drinks.

Highly recommend in your in the area.

One of the best experiences you can have in Milan! The food is original and authentic, with a mix of influences and consistently delicious combinations of fresh ingredients. The tasting menu, at only €40, is a truly unique experience by Milan standards. The service is also friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

I’ve been staying in Milan for a month now and this is the best meal I’ve had. I thoroughly enjoyed my solo dinner date. I requested the tasting menu and told the waiter that I did not eat beef or pork. I had no idea the menu was mainly vegetarian and seafood! He just brought out beautiful plates of food until I was ready for dessert. The tasting menu is intended for 2 so I just didn’t have all 6 courses. Everything was delicious. The swordfish was the standout dish. So many flavors-just exquisite. The service was also excellent. Make sure to get a reservation, especially for the weekend.

Loved our meal at Cucina Franca – we asked them for a vegetarian tasting menu, which they were able to do and it was fab! Each dish was a surprise and the flavours were very unique (I didn’t love the asparagus one personally, all others were top). Top service by the team and excellent wines. The decor inside is vibey (especially the bathroom) albeit a bit small, outside is a bit more standard. Well priced for the quantity of food we got. Would recommend for a non-typical meal in Milan!

Definitely an experience worth trying. We went for the tasting menu and were served six dishes plus dessert (wich was small cubes of fruit and cheese). Out of those six, all apart from the mushrooms were cream or purée-based, and that texture can get pretty repetitive when there’s nothing to actually bite into. It’s something the restaurant should consider when designing a tasting menu. Personally, I’d suggest skipping it and ordering a few dishes to share instead — that way, you have more control over what you get.

I was brought here by my partner for my birthday and the restaurant did not disappoint! Something a little different than your typical Milanese eatery but don’t let the menu fool you, everything here is top notch.
The staff are friendly and engaging, walking you through each dish and the ingredients used in them. There is also an outdoors area indent of the restaurant for diners wanting an al fresco experience in the warmer months.
Absolute gem of a restaurant here and I’d highly recommend visiting!

The end of my trip to Milan, and no other place could’ve been better to wrap it up. I didn’t know the city, and to be honest, I wasn’t that interested in it either. I came for personal reasons. My boyfriend and I ended up here thanks to a personal recommendation, not entirely convinced by the menu. I’m not particularly into seafood, but I decided to take the leap.

The dishes were visually stunning (something you can clearly see in GoogleMaps/Instagram photos) but the taste… with every bite, I was surprised by how balanced each element of the plates was. We took the tasting menu (thank God, a.k.a the chefs, it exists)

A creative menu, clearly youthful in spirit, aiming to innovate and look ahead, but also respecting traditions and the nature of every ingredient. I find it truly captures the energy of the city, which I consider extremely lucky to have a place like Cucina Franca on its streets. The disruption in the food was subtle like small sparks of light, flavour, and pleasant surprises in every dish.

I couldn’t stop talking about it with friends and family. I hadn’t planned on coming back to Milan (it’s not really my kind of holiday city), but I’d return just to have another culinary experience like this.

We had an amazing time at Cucina Franca. Staff is extremely nice and helpful and explained us everything about its changing menu. The food curation is awesome (mostly vegetarian), the attention to detail and the flavor of it all. We ate by the bar and that was great because you face directly to the kitchen and it is fun to see them cook. The terrace with nice lighting looked super nice for dinner; on the inside I would recommend to change the lighting to a warmer vibe. Also wine was great, they let us try several oranges until we founded the one that suited us best. 100% recommend

I went here with my caretakers. As always they are really good at picking amazing places for me to discover my palette! The food came in small plates that everyone shared. I liked that, because I could try a little bit of everything. Each dish looked amazing with thoughtful touches of greens and flavor!

Very friendly staff. Fast service. Imaginative and interesting menu based mostly on fish and veggies. The courgettes with stracciatella are a must. Nice roasted onion with broth and mayo. Delicious bread. A very creative option to eat in Milan.
