We had plans of stopping at a walk in establishment for dinner before previewing the Shelburne Museum lights and it’s was a busy evening, so after trying 2 other locals spots, we stumbled upon Cucina Antica! They were also full with reservations, but had 3 spots at the bar. We had our 2 year old daughter with us and we were going to making it work between lap sitting and standing so she could have her own chair, because ya know—toddlers, but before we knew it they arrived with a 4th chair and we all
Squeezed in. We ordered the eggplant fries, Greek sample platter, and 2 pizzas. We sipped our drinks as we enjoyed chatting and the wait staff would engage with our chatty toddler any time she spoke to them as they walked past. It was so lovely to be greeted with warmth and overly accommodated! The food was amazing! The Greek platter was very full and delicious! The eggplant fries are so unique and approved by even our daughter! The pizzas were unique and so tasty! Really hit the spot after striking out! We will def be back with intention to try more from their menu! Thank you again!

Tonight was my first time eating here and I have to say the meal was incredible! Good Italian restaurants (or any for that matter) are hard to find in my neck of the woods. The atmosphere was cozy and not loud.
I had the sausage bolognese. The linguini was cooked to perfection. I have never cleared my plate of the leftover sauce, but besides being a good sauce, I didn’t want to miss a bit of the sausage and green peppers. The bread was steaming and absolutely delicious and your waitstaff were so accommodating and friendly. I also saw some incredible pizzas going by… being somewhat of a pizza snob, having grown up with NY pizza, what I saw looked pretty darn close to a good NY pizza. I will try that next!

Decent food, good pizza and fresh ingredients. It was cozy and nice inside, but they sat us right by the front door with a machine blowing air behind us. This was probably the worst seat in the house. The service was good, and the process seem to be in line, we spent just under a $100 for two people and got no drinks, a pizza, pasta dish, soup and an appetizer.

My mom and I went to Cucina for dinner tonight and I was pleasantly surprised. I hadn’t been in years, and it’s just as great as I remembered. I ordered the bistro lasagna and it was absolutely incredible. The sauce and ingredients were perfect. My mom really enjoyed her small pizza and salad too. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

This is located in a shopping mall, which is very deceptive. The employees and food were amazing. Probably the best meal we had while in Vermont, especially when you consider the pricing. Highly recommend

A local store recommended this restaurant and we’re so glad they did. It’s off the highway a little and we wouldn’t have seen it. The service was fantastic (Thanks Chelsea!) And the food was even better. We’ve never had eggplant fries but oh my gosh. They were cut to order, lightly battered and fried perfectly. I think we got a whole eggplant. The beef stroganoff was the best we’ve ever had. I don’t think I’ve ever tipped 30% but they earned it!

I wish I never ate the food here. Everything I had was bland. The pizza was greasy, flavorless, and dense. The chicken parm wasn’t even breaded or fried and the sauce was underseasoned and tasted old. You can tell that this is an awful restaurant because their menu is massive and it contains Greek and Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, this place gets a lot of business, but I guess I’m not surprised because the food scene in Vermont is horrible. This place does not deserve to be in business.

Another good meal at Cucina. The summer shrimp Bolognese was delicious. Made up of fresh summer produce and seared shrimp served over fettuccine, with side salad and warmed crusty bread, was very satisfying – $24. The food is predictably good, portions are generous.

Expensive and disappointed that my guest said worst pizza she ever had. Kind of thin, thin crust.
