In one word – wow!! This is our 2nd trip to Mystic and we’ve dined at a few of the other restaurants on the Main Street, but this one hits different on all counts. The hospitality extended by our server Dennis was top tier, he shared some insight into his own past and the story of this family owned restaurant. We had the baked Camembert for appetizer and shared the bolognese and Diavola pizza for mains with more than ample to take some back with us! The pizza is outstanding! Dennis told us about their special dough and how they source so many ingredients from Italy. Unfortunately there was no space for dessert but this will surely be our favorite place to return to. A must visit place!

Absolutely fantastic dinner at Cucina pantheon. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Our server, Emily was so accommodating and very knowledgeable on both the menu and the wines. The food was beyond our expectations. Everyone in our party enjoyed their appetizers, entrées, and dessert.
We are bringing friends next week to introduce them to this fabulous new addition in Mystic .

Service and food is outstanding. You truly feel like family. We started with the shrimp polenta which was delicious, accompanied by an espresso martini, tomato salad with huge chunks of feta and a pizza we shared between 3 people. Will definitely be back!

My family was in town and we decided to checkout this new restaurant because it had just recently opened. Having been to Italy many times over the years with extended family over there, I felt like I was right at home. Every dish tasted like my Italian grandmother was back there in the kitchen about to come out and give me a hug. The olive oil and the bread was so good I could’ve eaten just that alone, however the margarita pizza puts Frank Pepe’s to shame and the eggplant Parmesan was incredible. So so good you’ll just have to see for yourself

From the moment we stepped into Cucina Al Pantheon in the heart of Mystic, we felt like we’d stumbled into a little hidden gem. The setting struck that perfect balance of cozy and elegant—warm lighting, soft conversation all around, and an atmosphere that made us want to settle in and linger.

We started with the Fritto Misto appetizer, which was crisp, light, and so full of flavor that it disappeared from our plates almost too quickly. For our mains, we couldn’t resist trying both the Frutti di Mare and the Pantheon pizza. The seafood in the Frutti di Mare tasted fresh and bright, with pasta that soaked up every bit of that beautiful sauce. The pizza was just as memorable: thin, perfectly blistered crust with toppings that worked together so naturally it reminded me why simple food, done right, is unforgettable.

And then came dessert. The Torta della Nonna felt like a hug on a plate—delicate, creamy, with that little touch of sweetness that leaves you smiling at the end of a meal.

What really tied everything together, though, was how the whole evening felt. The staff treated us like we were guests in their own home, and the pace of the meal let us savor not just the food, but the company and the experience itself.

Cucina Al Pantheon isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to enjoy, to remember, and to return to.

Had an amazing anniversary dinner here over the holiday weekend! All of the food was delicious and fresh. The drinks were very good too, but I have to say, the service was absolutely incredible! The nicest staff and very professional. The owner even came around to every table to make sure everyone was enjoying their meals. They also made it a point to wish us a happy anniversary and write in chocolate on our dessert! 10/10, would come back again the next time we are in the area.

Cucina Al Pantheon hosted a dinner for the ladies in my run club. The restaurant was so accommodating from our planning phone call to execution. Everyone’s meal and drinks were spot on, and the bread and olive oil appetizer was wonderful. I was telling one of my friends next to me that I can’t wait to take my husband back here so he can share in how good the food is. I ordered the eggplant melanzane and it was terrific. Highly, highly recommend you give this restaurant a try.

If you are looking for an actual authentic Italian dining experience in the heart of Mystic, look no further. I lived in Italy for 25 years, so I know Italian food.
You can tell the caliber of a restaurant the moment you open the menu; unlike many “Italian-American” spots, the spellings here are spot-on and, more importantly, the ingredients are traditional. You won’t find any shortcuts or “fusion” distractions here—just pure, regional integrity.
The experience was elevated further by the staff. They are extremely friendly and impressively knowledgeable, able to explain the nuances of the wine list and the preparation of the dishes with ease. It’s clear that the top-notch chef prioritizes quality and technique above all else.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through Mystic, this is a must-visit. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
