What an experience we had! Arrived during prime time hours and still able to be seated immediately. Got to talk to a staff member and find out the family is on vacation the next day. They had plenty of foods still available, prompt service and one of the nicest servers we have had the opportunity to talk with. Gave lots of advice for what to get (adults and kids) and great conversations. Family friendly.

Upon stopping in Covington VA, our hotel receptionist recommended this place against a Chinese restaurant and a new opened Mexican restaurant. The wife ordered the house made lasagna. The son ordered a calzone that they conveniently call a turnover and I tried the spaghetti and meatballs. We also had salad and garlic bread. The salad bar was super clean and very tasty, the garlic bread was actually amazing. Probably didn’t need two portions because they were pretty large but they were great. The wife lasagna is good. The son’s calzone was great. Now onto my spaghetti overcooked noodles out of sight. Crazy. Couldn’t even twist the pasta. They broke every time I looked at it. Not enough sauce. It was dry as a bone but the meatballs were tasty. If we lived here I’d give it one more try, but if I ever come through this town again I will have definitely have to pass. Especially because they charge you to use your debit card or your credit card. I run a restaurant chain in Cincinnati. We take credit cards and we pay the percent point to let the credit card go through. We don’t pass it to the customer and sort of when we do. We put it in the price of the food, but this food was too expensive to begin with at $15 from pasta and sauce 15 for the wife lasagna with a salad and bread right on even for the pop over, but definitely not. The pasta definitely wouldn’t refer. It definitely don’t recommend it would not go back. However, our waitress is amazing and several the cashier, people or super friendly…. It wasn’t for the horrible pasta and the passing on the credit card markup to the customer. I probably would do this again at least once

Was just passing through the area and decided to stop for lunch. What a great surprise. Absolutely delicious pizza and my husband said the Italian grinder he got was one of the best he had ever had. Friendly servers and a nice place. Will definitely try this place again if we’re in the area!

The pizza is A+++ when I want New York style pizza, this is what I’m talking about. The sauce and crust were authentic. The salad bar was on point too. Prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent. The homemade ranch is good too. If I’m ever in Covington again, I will surely eat here. Impressive!!

Really nice place. The cooking area is unique and you can actually see everything that goes on. Our waitress was ok, polite, courteous and timely. The whole place was clean in general and although I didn’t use the restroom, I would think it was decent too. The food was great although the lasagna was a bit pricey for the amount they give you. The salad bar is one of the best I’ve ever been to and had not only a nice variety, it was good quality. I’d come here just for the salad bar.

The thin crust pizza is great !!! Salad bar is great !!! Spaghetti sauce is good. Service is great. But, the expensive Sicilian thick crust pizza is a disaster. I don’t mind spending a big chunk of money on a good pizza but the Sicilian is a big chunk of raw dough. Cucci’s doesn’t parbake their Sicilian prior to loading on the toppings, the result is a layer of raw pizza dough (not cooked) under the sauce when complete. The raw dough gets worse as you work your way toward the center forming gobs of soft raw wet yeast flavored bites in your mouth. I’m not sure these Italians know what thier doing at this location. It’s ashame because skipping the parbake step destroys a pizza that would otherwise be great…. so sad….. and very unfortunate for customers who spend $30-$40 on a pizza that’s not fully cooked.

I’m New Jerseyean born and bred and judge my pizza seriously. I didn’t have the highest expectations but I was surprised. The pizza and its toppings were very fresh and tasty. The service was outstanding. I highly recommend Cucci’s for anyone in the area.
