Every time I roll up to that Cuban spot in Killeen, it feels like sittin’ down at my abuela’s table after a long day ridin’. Now, I ain’t ever tried their sandwiches, but that hot bar? That’s where the real treasure lies. You walk in and see all them pans laid out—ribs, chicken, rice, beans, and sides stacked up like a chuckwagon feast—and you just know you’re about to eat good.
Those ribs fall clean off the bone, tender as can be, and that rice soaks up all the flavor like it was meant to be there. The sides ain’t no afterthought either—corn, veggies, rolls—all of it tastes like it was cooked slow with care, the way family’s been doin’ it for generations. Ain’t no small portions here, either. They pile your plate high enough to keep a cowboy full till sundown.
What I like most is the feeling behind the food. It don’t taste like some quick bite you grab in town—it feels like a home-cooked meal, warm and familiar. To me, this place ain’t just a restaurant. It’s comfort, it’s tradition, and it’s good eatin’ every single time.

I ordered 2 chicken enpenadas and two beef one pork as my husband likes pork. I ordered a sandwich and he ordered a Pernil Sandwich which was beautifully made very appealing to the eye. I ordered two pizza empenadas as i wanted to get those for someone else and 3 sodas which came to under 29 dollars. The food was amazing and before you say anything about how much i ordered, i can actually hardly eat due to stomach issues so when i can i like to try a lil of each. What i cant eat my hubby will. Back on point I will definitely be ordering from there again. The atmosphere was very quaint and homely for a restaurant, but that only added to the ambiance of what was a wonderful first moment with my husband as newly weds never had Cuban

This shop has been here for many many years!! And for many many years they have been consistent, delicious, courteous and clean!! What else can you ask for in a food establishment!? Their signature item is the Cuban sandwich!! It’s always fresh! Delicious! Well proportioned! And the price is just amazing!! You get a whole full sandwich for under 5 bucks!! Thank you for your consistency and delicious sandwiches! They also offer a great variety of Latin flavors for example fried pork belly along with great seafood and sides! Keep up the great work and thank you again!!

Food is always dried out due to being under light for too long… the meat is tough , no juicyness or nothing just dry dry dry & the oxtail use to be worth the dime but the meat fall off so much that u only get a very small portion & the rest is ox tail bones or the liquor from the oxtail pot. Lady that runs the register acts very unwelcomining & unappreciative for the business that kp her business afloat…

This cuban sandwich is sooo good. The restaurant has other food as well and they do have a few seats for you to sit inside and outside to eat. The prices are great. There is a grocery store attached if you need anything else. The employees are nice. Be prepared to wait a few mins for your sandwich. The other food is already prepared and you can order right away and get it.

I love this place!!! The food is always great, service is quick, friendly, and inexpensive. I usually get a stew, rice and peas, a side and plantains. Today I noticed they had an oxtail stew available and man, I have not been this excited to eat in a while! I have been wanting to get away from Jamaican oxtails because the ones in the area are decent at best. The green beans are so good too. Needless to say the meal was exceptional.
