I used to make the trip to go for the food as it used to be really good. Unfortunately, I will not be back after my last visit. First, I stood there for almost 5 minutes while the girl in the truck ignored me. There were no other customers so it wasn’t because she was busy, she just ignored my presence. When she finally came over she was extremely rude and made it very obvious she didn’t want to help me. It seemed to me that I wasn’t cuban enough to warrant service. When I finally got my order it was a disaster. My frita was burned so bad I couldn’t eat it, the papa rellena was cooked on the outside but the meat inside was ice cold and the cuban sandwiches were missing the mustard and pickles and barely pressed. I’ve met the owners before and they seemed like very nice people. Hopefully they will address what’s going on before this employee ruins their business.

Stood there for over 5 minutes and no one acknowledged me . Parking is horrible and prices seem high to be a good truck. Maybe it was my skin color or just poor service no one tried to make eye contact with me at all. I have eaten here before and loved the food but my experience today wasn’t good and I will take my business elsewhere.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a food truck to enjoy while we were out running errands and ended up passing by Cuban Express. We U-turned at the light, decided to try it out and are thrilled we did. From start to finish the service was fantastic and kind, you can tell the food is made with love. We ordered a Cuban sandwich, mango smoothie, croquettes, an empanada, and cafe con leche and not a single item disappointed. Not to mention the prices are incredibly affordable and the food is authentic. I cannot wait to eat here again at this hidden gem and I’m so happy we found Cuban Express today!!
