I was in town for lunch and found this local gem on Maps. Loved the food. I started with an espresso (a must)! Then I ordered lechon asado, sides of maduros, moros, and yucca fries. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat!

I Eat here on a regular basis and the food is excellent. I began eating here when the original owner first opened the business. The Diner has gone through several owners over the years And the quality of the food and service was not the best, but in the last year, the Diner has regained my confidence and I love their new remodel and how delicious every meal is.

I was excited about going here because from the outside it looks really authentic and I think it is authentic, sadly the food just didn’t blow me away. I was excited to order the Roast Vieja(shredded brisket) and it was oily and just not very flavorful. I wanted more of a punch. I do appreciate that you get to pick 3 sides with your meal. I ordered veggies and sweet plantains. The plantains were the BEST part of the meal. The veggies were just VERY buttery- like too much. One of the people with us order the Arroz Imperial and I think she won the best order award. It was the most food and was pretty tasty.

The food is great. Their service leaves a little to be desired. We’ve been into the restaurant before and were the only ones there and it seemed that the waitress struggled serving us.
Today, we order food and two three drivers go to pick up and food is not ready. They kept telling the drivers that it would be “soon” They need to learn when to pause their Uber orders. Pretty disappointed having a delivery show up 2 1/2+ hours later.

Wow, good times at the Cuban dinner, which I haven’t been to in a min. Kelly, went above and beyond with excellent service and long time knowledge of foods, standards, and personality. Hot food is a must with me, with the presentation, bold flavors that this place holds, nothing but VIP dinning to me, with the best Cuban food in Atlanta!

However, the wait time was extremely long. The restaurant seemed severely understaffed, with only one person handling the entire front of the restaurant. Despite being only about 30% full, I waited almost an hour for my food while delivery orders were clearly being prioritized.
The food quality does not excuse the terrible dine‑in experience. An hour-long wait in a nearly empty restaurant, combined with obvious prioritization of delivery orders, shows a lack of regard for dine‑in customers. I strongly recommend avoiding dining in altogether.

So cute inside! The comida is amazing! I saw a little sign saying there was a new Cuban diner in the area – so I tried it and glad I did! The maduros are cooked to perfection! I ate dinner here two days in a row! Highly recommend 10/10.
