Pro tips:

1. Leave the tostones on top of the platter so they don’t get soggy

2. Serve the tops vieja with the stew so it stays succulent during the duration of the meal.

Everything was delicious and flavorful. By far the tastiest juncture of my Denver journey. This was well worth the 17 minute walk

I was in Denver visiting for a long weekend and discovered this place while looking for someplace good to eat. I hadn’t had good Cuban food in a while so I decided to try it. I was first impressed by the look of the restaurant – It’s like a cute little house! It definitely stands out with its beautiful colors and garden patio. I was surprised by how much bigger it was on the inside. I was alone so I sat by the bar in a comfy little corner by the window – It was perfect. The bartender was a Jack of all Trades that evening and served also as the waiter. He was very nice and attentive. I ordered moros, plantain chips, and empanadas. Everything was amazing and the portions were great. If I had more room in my belly, I for sure would’ve ordered more empanadas Denver has some great hidden gems – I’d come back just for the food lol

This place is great! It always seems like everyone is happy, there.
I usually get the Camarones al Coco, but I wanted to try something different on my latest visit, so I ordered the Cubano. Both are excellent. The dipping sauces you get with the Mariquitas Cuba Cuba are very tasty, as well.
Sorry about the lighting in the Cubano photo. I think that was the restaurant lighting. I got it with the plantains.

My friend is a local and took me here. I was hesitant as I don’t know much about Cuban food but it was delicious. The restaurant is so cute and quaint and does offer outside seating. Service was great. My friend had a special request cocktail and thre bartender did a great job replicating it. I would definitely go back if in the area!!

Food and vibes were a 10/10. Highly recommend. Everything tasted great but my favorite was the crispy shredded pork with this super flavorful rice. Absolutely to die for. And the desserts?! Must must must. The empanadas were good but we took the extras home and had them the next day and they tasted even better. Service was fine but nothing great. Everyone was nice but it took us some time to get the waitress attention/ she wasn’t around a ton. Though to her credit she was a tad bit busy. Overall great experience and I shall be returning!

Lively, the fun spot serving up all of the Cuban favorites. Full bar and outdoor patio. Happy hour from 4-5:30 with some tasty mojitos.

I think we caught them on a bad night. Ropa Vieja was dry. First time I’ve seen it served without the broth. Bistec Empanizado was just bland and boring. Sangria was super watered down and tasted like thinned out wine. Honestly I’ve never gone to a Cuban restaurant and walked out feeling like the food didn’t have much flavor like this experience.

Really cool vibes though. Empanadas were a highlight. Tres leches was tasty.

I might give them a 2nd chance because it seems they are a crowd pleaser.

I celebrated my birthday party here last night. We were a party of 14 & AJ was our server. He did a PHENOMENAL job. We went in fully expecting to have to pay for everything on one card as we were such a large group, but AJ was so organized that he already had every check split up by person with no mistakes made. He was very kind and professional.
The food, as always, is phenomenal. Cuba Cuba is one of my favorite restaurants and the way they made my birthday dinner so amazing really cemented my loyalty!

This Cuban café in Denver is an absolute gem! Not only is the coffee rich, bold, and authentically Cuban, but the atmosphere is truly one-of-a-kind. Sitting here with a cafecito or cortadito in hand while being surrounded by the mountains is simply magical. The combination of authentic Cuban flavors and the breathtaking Colorado scenery makes this place unforgettable.

The pastries and snacks are just as delicious — flaky pastelitos, fresh sandwiches, and treats that instantly bring a taste of Cuba to the Rockies. The staff is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.

Whether you come for a quick coffee or to relax and take in the views, this café is a must-visit. It’s rare to find such authentic Cuban flavor paired with such stunning mountain surroundings. Truly a perfect spot in Denver!”
