We went there during their “Soft Opening” period. The food was great and came out piping hot. Great for the food but be careful; the plates were quite hot as well and might burn someone with sensitive skin. Service was good but it looked like there was only one server in the restaurant and there were a couple of times when the server was a bit distracted. The Atmosphere looks like a work in progress at the time of this review a should improve with time.
In short: great food, good service and okay atmosphere. We would go back again.

Springfield has gotten two new Mexican restaurants in the past few weeks, and they have very different cuisine. We’ve tried both. Cuatros Amigos also has a restaurant in New Berlin. Three of us were celebrating a friend’s birthday. We arrived around 6:30, and the restaurant wasn’t busy. We were shown to a booth (our choice), drinks were brought (including horchata for me), and salsa and chips. We ordered guacamole for the table, I had the Monster Burrito filled with steak, chicken, shrimp, onions, green peppers with queso and red chile sauces. It is truly a monster – huge. My wife had vegetarian tostados and enchiladas, also a huge portion. Our birthday girl ordered regular toastados with beans and rice, and salad, once again a large portion; she needed a take-home box. The service was excellent, the price was truly reasonable, and we left satisfied and looking toward a future visit.

i ordered some birria tacos and the tortillas were really hard and the meat was about to spoil. Also, the person who served me was rather rude.

Best Mexican on the west side! Fast service, fresh food, and great location. Very easy on the wallet as well, which never hurts! We will be back for sure!

A great and sorely needed addition to the Springfield Mexican food scene! My plate of chicken, cheese, and rice was well balanced with flavorful rice, chicken with a perfect char on it, and queso juuuuuust thick enough to scoop it all onto chips or into tortillas! My husband enjoyed the chicken tamal and beef taquitos. Environment was casual and comfy, and service was friendly and fast. We’ll be back soon!
