Incredible food and people! Comfortable atmosphere and inspiring to see the work going into refurbishing this space. Locally owned by a beautiful family and the food is PERFECTION. We had the Italian beef, jerk shrimp and as many sides as we could eat. I grew up around Eau Claire, but live in Milwaukee now. C&T’s could rival any of our restaurants and I feel so lucky to have this as an option when I visit dad. Rooting for this place! Go eat here asap. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful restaurant! My parents and I stopped in a couple of weeks ago. We had a few beers and some amazing food. I had the catfish, which is hard to find in Wisconsin, and was excellent. Just as good if not better than fried catfish I’ve had down south. I had fried okra as a side, also hard to find in Wisconsin. It was perfect, just like the fried okra I used to eat when I lived in Arkansas and Texas. My parents had Chicago dogs and they said they were some of the best they’ve ever had. Antoine, the owner sat and talked with us for a while. He’s a super nice dude who is passionate about his restaurant and his craft. Definitely check this place out for some of the best Soul/Southern food in the Chippewa Valley.

The Fried Catfish was crispy, flavorful, and piping hot ’til the last bite.
The Greens tasted like they were made fresh with just the right amount of flavor, not from a can like some places have had the unmitigated gall to do.
The hush puppies were good with a unique twist. Me personally, I wish they had a bit more diced onion and celery, but they were still tasty as is.
And yes, the restaurant truly is Chicago-Style. I personally quizzed the owner regarding Chicago recipes and dishes.

Excellent food and service. I’ll be returning to this place . Catfish is lightly breaded and comes w/fries . The yams are fresh in a awesome sauce. There greens are so good they ran out . So next time they better have some .

The shrimp po boy was amazing! The sauce was legendary (it normally comes on the sandwich I just got it on the side for dipping purposes) and the atmosphere was cool. Highly recommend

I was here looking at doing some work and decided to grab what they call bangin salad. Ive had them at restaurants many times and figured this would be just another zalad or bang bang shrimp knock off. I WAS WRONG!!. LOOK at this thing it’s gigantic and the chicken and shrimp is cooked to fried perfection. Hand down best salad ever.!!!

The catfish here is HUGE and perfectly seasoned. It came out hot and crispy, as did the wings. The yams here are next level, and you better order a sweet tea while you’re at it. Comfy place with great service.

Hands down the best catfish. I will be back to try the other ‘Soul’ food on the menu. Let’s get this place hoppin. The owners are great. There is a big construction project going on in their darn parking lot, out of their control…but it is totally worth the drive around to go eat here!!

I had the fried okra, A catfish po boy, taco fries, and a hotdog with onion called A Maxwell something. Every dish was excellent.
