Most saloons were combined with brothels, in places like Tombstone, anyway. Many Saloon girls who poured and served drinks were also prostitutes at the saloon.

We stopped in for some lunch here after discovering they are dog friendly. The permit pups in the main saloon area which was nice. Quite the historic saloon, so it was fun looking at the architecture and the huge wooden bar. The service was good and very friendly, beer was cold and food was decent – my brother had a burger, the husband the philly cheese steak and I went for a chicken wrap (which was a bit bland).

The extra star for me is the pup friendliness. I had initially thought they would put us up on the second story balcony seating area but it was nice that we were able to sit inside of the main saloon.

Had a great time havitlunch here on a beautiful January afternoon. We had the Mexican Candy Burger, The Duke Burger topped with roast beef and the Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich all wee very good. Cooked as ordered. Standouts were the fries, honey mustard sauce and both burgers. Specials were $5 mimosas a bit too much OJ but served in bigger glasses. We sat on the top patio during a very busy lunch service. Took about 15-20.minutes to get to us but once they did we had good service. Dog friendly patio too!

The duke burger was the best burger I had in Tombstone! No joke! The nacho fries! The loaded nachos! The onion rings fried in beef tallow! The best! The servers were great and friendly! Dog friendly patio. The food and service! The best! I will definitely come back here soon!

Visiting in the winter gave very few choices for a meal. I had already chose Crystal Palace ❤️ The historic vibe with the amazing bar and neat stuff all over was a welcome spot to grab a beer and burger. We enjoyed the food and the service was top notch.
Make sure and tip ypur servers well, the night we visited in was 2 women running the entire show and very well!

I had a great experience with the food at Crystal Palace, their steak was really good. However, the service at the bar fell short for me. The bartender wasn’t very friendly and kinda seemed to ignore me. If they could work on the bartender’s attitude, it would really elevate the whole experience.

We visited this restaurant over Memorial Day weekend, and it was packed with visitors—but definitely worth the wait! We had no idea this saloon was the oldest in Arizona, originally opened in 1879, which made the experience even more special.
The food was amazing—especially the all-you-can-eat ribs, which were tender and full of flavor. We also tried the chicken sandwich and burgers, and both were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was lively and authentic, with live music playing in the background, adding a great touch to the Old West vibe.
If you’re in Tombstone, this historic saloon is a must-visit—for both the history and the food!
