The steaks were fantastic, we had the Filet and Ribeye. They were cooked perfectly, and I order a rare plus, done perfect (most places don’t even know what I’m talking about). The service was also excellent and quick.

Didn’t love that it is in a casino, which smells of smoke. No smoking in restaurant though. The restaurant is very small, but cozy.

We sat in the bar and ordered apps before a show. Brianna took wonderful care of us! We had the Lobster Mac n Cheese, Lamp Lollipops, and Coconut Shrimp and split it between two of us. The food was spectacular and the service was top notch. I’ll definitely be back!

BEST STEAK I’VE EVER HAD ‼️ Also, the friendliest, most joyful people work here. Jack and Bri will serve you not only food, but impressive ideas of what to try on their menu, options that will blow your mind, and laughter! Lots of joy and laughter. I first tried this place a couple of months ago, more by accident than planned, and I left shocked. Ribeye is my favorite food and favorite meat- I was blown away by the way they cooked it. I was so impressed, I asked the chef’s name, Josh. Josh can make a steak like no other experience you will have. I went back to this place yesterday for my birthday and per usual, it was exceptional. This night, they offered a special type of ribeye that is not normally offered- a Washama Reserve, American Wagu ribeye grade A9 (the scale goes to A10). Meaning, this meat was an opportunity to be stunned! Josh, per usual, cooked it so well and it was again, the best steak I’ve ever had. The Wagu is exceptionally tender and the marble was beautiful. The Cesar salad is also my favorite salad in all of reno/sparks/tahoe, so I ordered my normal Cesar. Jack, the best waiter I’ve ever met, suggested we try the brussel sprouts appetizer, so we did, and there are really no words to describe how great that dish is. They cooked the Brussels with a semi-spicy, hot honey glaze and they will blow your mind (not spicy to me, just enough for a slight kick). EXCEPTIONAL. They tasted like dessert, but weren’t even sweet!! While you are waiting for food, they serve you with some sourdough bread and whipped butter, alongside a vinegar/cilantro oil for dipping the bread and that is also a stunner. The atmosphere is nice, a bit nicer than casual dining, very quiet, and dim lighting (not super bright and annoying). We had dessert last time and it is also great, but we turned it down last night because we were soo full. Jack surprised me with a candle dessert, anyways. They are this thoughtful. Bri is the best waitress and she was able to make me a homemade lemonade, which tasted fresh and much better than any “normal” lemonade. Please go visit Bri, Jack and Josh! This is a food experience that will change your life and give you reasons to take a day trip to Lake Tahoe!

Need to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional experience at this steakhouse. From the moment we arrived (at closing time), the bartender, chef and sous chef were extraordinary. They were memorable by making sure we were able to get a much needed “smorgasbord” of food to help end our night.

They went above and beyond to accommodate us and even took the time to personally ensure that our preferences aligned with their specialties – special shot-out to the Viking Wings. This attention to detail and personalized care truly set the tone for an outstanding dining experience.

The creativity and passion for food that shined through in every dish. It’s clear the team takes great pride in what they do, and it certainly did not go unnoticed. Thanks so much for feeding us at closing time!

Come for the passion, stay for the great food! Kudos to Chef Travis, Sous Chef Dean and his homemade pastas, and Crystal at the bar. We hadn’t come for about a year, and how it has changed! The steaks are melt-your-mouth, and the wine list is extensive and actually reasonable for the premium selections. My wife had the chicken marsala, generous and flavorful. Did I say fillet?! Tender and flavorful with a glass of Clos Du Val, so very special. A hidden gem in north Tahoe.

Amazing meal! The Duck was most excellent and the Salmon was superb as well. Had the Lobster Mac & Cheese for an appetizer which was very creamy with big chunks of lobster. Overall a great dining experience! Amy was very gracious and knowledgeable making the evening a true delight. Well worth the visit!

Cozy and intimate the Crystal Bay Steak & Lobster House restaurant sets the evening for an elegant fine dining experience. Service from start to finish is outstanding, knowledgeable and attentive with making sure to include the extra touches for those special celebrations. Be sure to make a reservation as seating/capacity is limited and tends to fill up on their busier nights or holidays.

We have frequented here over the years for special celebrations, holidays and while attending shows in the Crown Room ~ whether with my hubby, friends or our family, we have had the same elegant fine dining experience every time.

Our most recent visit was for Easter Sunday and then the following weekend for my birthday! For Easter I had THE most exquiste Special Menu: Duck Breast, mashed potatoes and fresh green beans ~ that was absolutely TO DIE FOR!! the duck breast melted in my mouth and cooked to PERFECTION! My hubby went with the traditional Sunday Night Special of Prime Rib Kings Cut that NEVER disappoints ~ comes with a cesear salad along with your choice of red or white glass of wine. Savory & deBOMB!! For my birthday we returned with my heart set on the Gnocchi with Lump Crab – these were lil pillowly delights with the perfect amount of sauce and crab ~ yummmyyy!! Finishing off with my fave dessert Creme Brule with strawberry puree & fresh whipped cream ~ absolutely divine!!

Look forward to when the current climate of everything changes for tableside cesear salad and banana foster comes back but until then we will enjoy all the delightful, excellent dishes and service CBC Steak & Lobster House has to offer!

From John, our server, to the Chef who came by and talked to us the service was great! Now, the food was the best I have had in a long time! Ribeyes’ cooked perfectly, squash and potatoes fantastic! My buddy had the Butternut squash soup which was the best soup I have had since a new England clam chowder a few years back in New Hampshire.
