I don’t know why local hangouts are called dive bars, but this is the dive bar to end all dive bars. Love the vibe and the feel. Fun chotchkeys all over the walls and ceiling. Ok mix of draft and bottle/cans, but if you’re here you’re likely looking for Coors Light over some nitro IIIPAs. Bartender super attentive and friendly. Likely will be passing through again to pregame before another work dinner! Thank you!

Came by after dinner on a Thursday evening.
Bartender was annoyed that we had a large group and took awhile to order. I did leave a bigger tip, so she seemed nicer and checked up on us more.
For the most part, a lot of young kids here haha.
Not a bad spot for cheaper drinks.

I was visiting a friend this past weekend and this was my first time in Bozeman. Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing. Rachel aka hot head was really unprofessional then again she’s a bartender. I understand that bartending can be stressful and that confidence behind the bar is common, but turning making it your entire personality results in terrible customer service.
There was name-calling, ignored orders, and an overall rude attitude that made the experience uncomfortable. This was easily some of the worst service I’ve encountered at a bar. An attitude check and customer service training are badly needed. I would not recommend this place if you’re looking for friendly staff, good service, or a welcoming atmosphere.

Great little college town bar and gathering place. The beer choices were great, the atmosphere perfect, the only thing that I was a bit disappointed with was they only serve frozen pizza cheese or pepperoni. I was hoping for a couple more food choices. If you’re in the area and would like to visit at quirky little bar this is the place to go. There is so much to see it keeps your eyes busy the whole entire time you are there. They have some wonderful old beer decor as well as casino games to play while you enjoy your beverage. Location is great and bathrooms were well lit and clean.

Now this is my kind of dive bar. The decorations are wacky, the guys behind the bar are fun and sociable, the music is just a little bit niche, and you got a bigger assortment of canned and bottled beer than I’ve seen anywhere. Might I like to mention that the drink deals feel insane? Maybe it’s just me coming in as a NYer, but I’d kill for specials like these back home! The place also has an awesome rooftop area to enjoy on nice days, but do be wary, it’s cash only so make sure you’ve got your bills with you before you wander upstairs. The place might not win you over with exquisite eats or fancy cocktails, but why should it?

I’ve been here multiple times and always had a great experience. At night, it’s lively and packed with college students and locals, making for a fun and energetic vibe. During the day, it’s much quieter but still has a great atmosphere!

Throwback old school type of bar with ample selection of beer on tap or in the bottle. Hard alcohol is available as well. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable and fair. Right on the downtown Bozeman strip make sit smack in the middle of the action so easily accessible. Ample free parking in the area.

Bar staff beyond excellent, very attentive and patient. Patrons terrible and act like it’s their first time at a bar.

The Crystal Bar is a genuine locals bar. One of the few places that stayed true to its roots. Don’t expect to be pampered. Expect drinks at a great price. If you wanna complain then do us a favor and move on. Don’t forget to tip your bartender .

What a great local dive! All of the locals seem to stop here for a late night drink. Upstairs rooftop bar is cash only and super cheap! Make sure to play the ring toss game! Some slot machines games downstairs to play as well
