Coconut cheesecake was very good. Def recommend. Rice and beans were also tasty. My burrito was basically ground beef with minimal amount of cooked onions. It didn’t really have much flavor but was a good portion. It’s take out only. No place to sit. Takes credit card.

Great food and friendly staff! They sell baked goods as well. Definitely recommend the habanero cheesecake! So good we went back for seconds!

Not Mexican food. Only fast food pick up or delivery. Low quality and high price.

Expensive due to remoteness, but very good – both the enchiladas verde and the halibut burger (depicted). Also the lemon bars were delish.

You wouldn’t think there would be a Mexican restaurant all the way up by the Arctic Circle. This place has good food and it’s a pretty decent meal for the big guys out there. Plus there’s Lilliana’s Bakery in the same place (since it’s husband and wife business). The cheesecakes are worth the try and the impending calories. Not too sweet but like Cruz’s great flavor!!

Had the Taco Canasta and it was amazing! Deep fried goodness with steak filling. Also purchased 2 amazing ceramic ornaments. Great homemade salsa!

I’m a Southern California native. SoCal has a plethora of awesome Mexican food. I never would have thought I’d have some of the BEST Mexican food ever from a tiny take out place in the Artic Circle! I have never had a flan as smooth and as flavorful as their’s. Their beef is seasoned perfectly and bursting with moist flavor. I’ve since moved back to the lower 48, and this place is the thing I miss most.
Like everything in Barrow, the food is a bit pricey, but their $20.00 burritos are good for 2-3 meals. They are the best value in Barrow!

As far as Tex med goes, not bad for this far north! Good, friendly service. Prices are what you would expect for Utqiagvik. Also- it confused us at first but it’s the same building for the bakery.

Came here in 2015 for the sheer novelty of going to the Northernmost Mexican restaurant in the world. Pleasantly surprised by the food, which did not disappoint. The proprietors were pleasant and engaging too.

Best Chimichangas and Tamales on the North Slope. Among other authentic Mexican food. Cruz even has some special culinary tricks up his sleeve for his biggest fans.
