Beast from the East – wow. Come to Cruzrs and get some food. We ordered the JD original cheesesteak and the broad street bully both with sport fries (old bay Cajun seasoning) and they did not disappoint. They were the perfect temperature, great flavor and the bread was soft, but toasted crispy and light. Cruzrs itself is a “dive” bar. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews on staff here: the door guy/bouncer was incredibly nice when we came in, helped us find a spot to sit and snagged us a menu. The bartenders are direct but efficient, and that should be appreciated. The waitress/food runner who took our order was incredibly friendly and pleasant and checked on us an appropriate amount of times. Highly recommend coming here to grab some food, a cold beer and hang out. We came on a Friday around 8 and the only complaint is parking can be difficult but not that big of a deal.

The sandwiches are amazing! Definitely one of the better ones I have had before. The food came out piping hot. And the owner came and checked on us to make sure our food was good.

Came here to get a Philly from Beast From the East but was super impressed with the bartending experience from JJ. He was very friendly, entertaining and made the bar experience that much better. Thanks for the great time man. We will be back because of you! Cheers!

Sandwiches are delicious. Good bread makes a sandwhich and they are aware. It’s nice and crusty on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Sandwich options are somewhat limited compared to a deli or dedicated sandwhich shop, but enough variety for anyone including a vegetarian option. Good serving sizes.

JJ was incredible bartender. He’s can twirl and do all that flashy bottle flipping which is great entertainment during your meal just make sure to sit at the bar to catch him

JJ is a fantastic bartender, paired with Beast from the East you can’t beat this saloon. JJ has made some of the best cocktails I’ve ever had, including a dirty martini (must try). Can’t recommend this place enough!

This is such a yummy sandwich bar. The sandwich bar is owned by a cute family who runs the whole op. The broccoli rabe chicken cutlet sandwich is to die for and so are their fries. Can’t go wrong here.
They have pool tables and a patio and live music and all kinds fun things. It’s a vibe and super affordable. We are so happy we found this place!
We threw my friends birthday here instead of doing a formal expensive dinner and it turned out so well. We had about 15 people show up and there was plenty of room!
