Awesome place. New owners are changing things up. Doing soft serve now and though I prefer hard ice cream, they just added Dill Pickle soft serve so had to try it. It was great! Just the right amount of dill pickle flavor, nice and creamy. It is a MUST try.
Also, great portion size, awesome friendly owners/staff. Super size pup cups.

The BEST ice cream in the area!! The coconut chocolate covered almond was excellent. Had a waffle bowl sundae with tons of hot fudge and whole pecans on top… it was incredible, I could only eat 2/3 as it was a generous serving. The service was great and they let us sit and visit for an hour and a half. Worth a drive to have some great homemade ice cream!

Went out of our way when headed back down through VT to hop over the border to NH and check out the Ice Cream Machine – and it didn’t disappoint!
The staff offered tastings if we wanted to try anything without us asking, and the serving sizes were very generous. The waffle cones were made in-house and great! It also didn’t hurt that they have a friendly dog on duty. The owner came out and was talking with us and regulars, definitely a welcoming environment.
We’ll be back for sure, and highly recommend!

The Ice cream Machine is under new ownership, and is doing an amazing job. I live in Vermont, home of a great maple creemee, but nothing I have ever had compares to the flavor of the maple creemee I tried at the ice cream machine. They do samples, which is so fun and a great way to try new things. Waffle cones are freshly made. Service is excellent and quick. Lots of choices, and something for everyone. Well done guys!!

Whenever I visit friends in Charlestown we come here. Excellent ice cream and service. Tons of flavors. Tonight I had burgundy cherry and orange pineapple. Both were great.

I wish I could give this place a better rating, but compared to my family’s normal ice-cream places, this is just awful. We have driven by many times and finally caught them while open. Prices are crazy high for the small amount you get. Sadly, handmade does not mean good ingredients. It ended up making myself and another family member sick. Which indicated to us what they are using in their ice cream. There was odd chunks of different stuff in our ice cream that shouldn’t have been there. It’s like they don’t wash the scoops in between, so you’re getting layers of mix junk. Including stale old pretlzes and hard chunks of random candy. One member wasn’t even sure if they got the ice cream they asked for as it was filled with so much yuck from previous scoops. We definitely won’t be back ever!
