Crust is one of those places that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. It’s a warm, welcoming pizzeria and Italian restaurant tucked away in La Costa, and it’s quickly become one of my new favorites. We had the chance to meet one of the owners, and she couldn’t have been more friendly and genuine — the kind of hospitality that makes the whole experience even better.
The food was absolutely delicious — classic Italian comfort done right — and the drinks were outstanding. It’s the perfect spot whether you’re out for a date night, grabbing dinner with family, or catching a game with friends. I really enjoyed our evening and can’t recommend Crust enough.

We had a really nice experience at this restaurant, and I especially want to shout out our server, Sarah, because she’s a big part of why the visit stood out.
The vibe is super chill, and the location right across from the park is perfect. Inside, it has a relaxed coastal beach feel with coastal art, plus a little bar area where the football game was on, which added to the laid-back atmosphere. It works great for families or just hanging out with friends.
The food was good overall. We ordered two pizzas, grilled veggies, salads, and a kid’s mac and cheese. The kid’s mac was surprisingly delicious and clearly made from scratch. The pizzas had great crust and good flavor; the ricotta one just had a bit more cheese than we prefer. The salads were fresh, crisp, and had really tasty dressing.
But the real highlight was Sarah. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful the entire time. Anyone who’s taken a one year old to a restaurant knows it can be a challenge, but she made everything so easy. Our little one was happy the whole meal (so were we), and we were able to relax and enjoy our time together.
Overall, great vibe, good food, and amazing service from Sarah. We’d definitely come back.

It was pretty good! The salad was very tasty. I ordered the chopped chicken salad and it was nicely made, with great flavor. I also ordered the bruschetta special appetizer – it didn’t have amazing flavor but it was definitely good enough for the special price. I got my son a 10” pizza with pepperoni – the sauce was good! The pepperoni was good quality and overall everything tasted good. I left full and happy. Thanks Crust – I’ll be back.
