Sicilian slice tasted like it was sitting a while and had very little sauce or flavor. Nothing on the display looked appetizing. Place needs some attention to cleaning. Used to get delivery from them but had two times that I was overcharged. Tried again for the first time in years but won’t try again. There are much better options in the area

I’d like to think that at some point they really made some great pizza. But this is definitely far from that. The pizza is so thin, especially in specific places, that you can see through it. It’s almost translucent. It’s literally thinner than what thin crust would be, and I did not even order thin crust. Unfortunately, the places around me are very limited. But I’m definitely hoping to find better pizza soon. I’ve gone here many times and the results is always the same. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I think at this point, it’s just not gonna change whether it’s a money savings technique. I’m not sure but why would anyone roll the door so that you can see it makes no sense.
Lastly, they charge more for credit card purchases, they should really put a sign where customers can see that this is their practice. It’s a terrible practice and not the original intention of the credit card.

I had the pleasure to stop in Crust around the Corner this past Sunday and I was very happy I did. The slices were perfect. The owner treats you with respect and is happy to serve you. I noticed how clean they also keep the place. Its a win win if you stop in for a visit next time you are hungry.

So, I do frequently order delivery or go in and grab slices, let me start by saying the BBQ slice is one of the best I have ever had!!! Butttttt I get a cheese pie delivered often enough and every single time the cheese is sliding off the pizza! They take it out of the oven and just send it off without letting it rest. Also, the owner is sweet! my delivery pizza is always looking a mess and barely eatable. Especially paying $28 (including tip)

MAKE PIZZA GREAT AGAIN! HA HA I LOVE IT!! This is a local gem of a pizza place; the owner and his daughter are truly amazing beautiful people. This is the best pie my family and myself has ever had. If I can taste and smell the fresh Italian spices in here like the oregano, it must be damn good. The sauce and the cheese, absolutely delicious. They never overdo anything, and the crust is fantastic. This is how pizza should be! The owner and his beautiful daughter became friends of mine actually over the years, it’s great I can actually go into a place and have a real conversation with them. They are locals, and they cater to locals. THEY ACCOMMODATE! They don’t make greasy soggy pizza, they made pizza great again! Keep doing what you’re doing! ♥️

I ordered a great grandma pie and a dozen garlic knots. I asked the total for delivery and noted I was paying cash. I was told $29 (and change). I prepared $35 for the delivery.

Upon arrival, I was told the total was $46. I went back in, got $51 and paid after questioning this total, explaining I was given a different number on the phone. I had brief convo with delivery driver, but decided it was best to take this up with the business so I called them back.

I asked the gentleman on the phone what the story is with the difference in price between the phone total and the arrival total and he acknowledged he made a mistake. But we broke down some of these charges and how they are mismatched from the menu prices on the website. Some are explained by the deceptive price listings online that show the price of a personal pie with a photo of the large pie. You can toggle the pie to the large price only after clicking on it. But, nonetheless, I was given a different total to pay.

But let’s look further. I was told the great grandmother pie is normally $32.50. The garlic knots are $6. Tax on this would be $3.50. That would be $41.50. This is a big number for a pie and knots. Sure, they’re calling this a premium pie, and it is honestly good, but it doesn’t appear to have more (or more expensive ingredients) than a regular Neapolitan pie- it’s not loaded with toppings or anything. But more importantly, this doesn’t match the total I was given, nor does it match the total at the door.

So let’s build this order on the website. It looks like this: $31 (pie) $6 (knots) $3.50 (tax) $5.55 (tip) $1.49 (service charge) $5 delivery -$3.70 (discount?). I guess that’s about $49.

So did someone just take a bunch of liberties in charging me for things that were undisclosed?

I also ordered a side of sauce I didn’t receive. Also…this was a SIX slice smaller pie than a standard pie.

When I questioned this price to the gentleman on the phone, and noted that these prices are crazy, he told me “It’s not just us, it’s the whole industry.” I corrected him and told him that this isn’t the only place where I’ve eaten pizza and that his pricing was indeed out of tune with reality. He disagreed. So…here’s the numbers:

Crust Around The Corner: Grandma $32.50, Knots $6 (plus aforementioned charges)
Carlos Manorville: Grandma $26, Knots $7 ($33)
Pennachios Manorville: Grandma $21, Knots $9 ($30)
Branchinelli’s Miller Place: Grandma $24.50, Knots $6 ($30.50)
Mama Lisa Mastic: Grandma $22.50, Knots $7 ($29.50)
Mary’s Speonk: Grandma $26, Knots $10 ($36)
Anton’s (La Volpe) Center Moriches: Grandma $24.76, Knots $5 ($29.76)
Michaelangelos Eastport: Grandma $24.20, Knots $8.80 ($33)
Brothers Four Center Moriches: Grandma $25.95, Knots $7 ($32.95)
Alatalia Center Moriches: Grandma $25, Knots $6.90 ($31.90)
La Vespa Manorville: Grandma $24.25, Knots $7 ($31.25)

They are indeed the most expensive pizza in the area.

So next time you question whether a customer is in tune with the “current pizza market” first question whether or not he has nothing better to do on a Sunday night than to get in tune with it.

I have been here a few times over the past year. The bathroom is in serious need of just basic cleaning and maintenance. Some of the picture frames that are on the bathroom wall have fallen off and the resulting paint/sheetrock damage has not been repaired. The baseboard molding has been needing to be replaced since I have been coming here. My most recent visit was this past Friday morning., soon after opening. The garbage pail by the front door, was full. Nice to know that garbage is left in the restaurant overnight. Seems the owner is more interested in anything else but the restaurant.
