AMAZING pizza and wine. The food, ambience and service are all top notch. So happy to have a pizza spot in Plymouth that is also a winery.

This Winery is fabulous. The name gets easier to pronounce as you complete the very flavorful tasting. It was such a treat to speak to the Owner/Winemaker and hear the inspiring stories of Italy that inspired his wine varietals. The skinny slices of stone fired pizza was very complimenting to each tasting. What a great discovery on a beautiful day!

This is a winery with great views and even better wines. I don’t know of any other local wineries that have Super Tuscans; yet, I found two super fantastic ones at Il Gioiello/Morse Wines.
I recently had the opportunity to attend a small private event at this winery and love the ambiance, the staff, and the fellow knowledgeable wine lovers who also consider Il Gioiello / Morse Wines to be their favorite go-to winery. I highly recommend taking the road less traveled (Fiddletown Road to Tyler to Lawrence) where you can still bring a picnic and enjoy some FABULOUS wines!!

Robert is both owner and winemaker. So fun to chat with someone so unpretentious and knowledgeable. It’s great to have a shop on Main Street in newly gentrified Plymouth.

And his wines. Wow! We walked out with four bottles, but next time they might just be cases. Good value, too! His Il Gioiello vineyards up the road will be our visit next time.

We discovered Roberts winery 15 years ago and have been coming up ever since. It’s our very favorite place; great wines, and an education by the winemaker and owner he’s the real thing! Beautiful scenery, great hammock, bring a picnic and enjoy.

This is a hidden treasure recommended to us by our fabulous Wine Tour company, Sierra Wine Experience. The wines are all very nice, and affordable. The winery cozy, and the service great. I’d skip some of the larger wineries and head up the road off the beaten path to try their wines.

This is my second favorite Winery in Amador and it makes my absolute favorite wine. We are members of their wine club and my wife finds ordering wine shipments from them to be “a Breeze”. The owner always has something interesting going on when we journey to Amador for festivals and events (i.e. – legendary stone/brick-oven pizzas, amazing guided tour by the owner and Q&A of barrel room, small select group tastes his unreleased wine recipes coming out later in the year). There was a big lovable dog that used to walk us into the tasting room and then back to our cars, but I haven’t seen it the past few trips. These wines are all wonderful but I especially love the Montepulciano. If this winery was closer to the others in Plymouth, it would be my favorite all around. This place is a bit out of the way, so call to make sure they are open before trekking out. We haven’t been up to Amador since the last Crush festival because of Covid. The last time we were there, we heard something about an In-Town tasting room for Morse Wines and Il Gioiello Winery.

Old school style Italian wines. Owner and his lovely wife truly love this business, and the extremely high quality of their wines is proof of this. It’s well worth the drive out. It’s beautiful!!
