Buyer beware of cold pizza.

Crush creates a 5 star pizza but doesn’t appear to care what temperature the pizza is when customers pick it up.

Tonight I ordered a pizza for pick up through their ordering platform, Toast.

Upon placing the order at approximately 6:45PM, and was informed that the pizza will be ready at 7:35 PM. That’s 50 minutes for a cheese pizza. How can that be?

I guessed that it wouldn’t take them 50 minutes to make a cheese pizza on a rainy Thursday night. So I went early to pick it up. I arrived at 7:15. The pizza was ready and had been ready for some period of time because it was not hot.

My brother runs a restaurant in Boston and uses the same ordering platform, Toast, but lets his customers know – automatically through Toast – when their order is ready.

Good luck with your cold pizza.

We were so excited to try this place out because of the reviews we saw online. The pizza looked great but from first bite we could tell something was off. We peeled the cheese of and it literally looks like they cook the dough first, basically turn it into a loaf of bread, and then put sauce and cheese on top. We could not get past how bad the dough was and ultimately threw this $26 cheese pizza in the trash.

2nd time trying this place out and can say I am very pleased with food both times. Tried the Sicilian style first time and it was pretty good and the wife had the steak pizzaiola and that was awesome . This time around got a Large Pepperoni pizza and it was awesome and again the steak pizzaiola for the wife and mozzarella sticks. Looking forward to trying other items that we have viewed on the website. Thanks Crush Pizza 🙂

My review is based on the pizza, I haven’t tried other items on the menu.

I got two small size pizzas, pepperoni and cheese. I asked for it well done and as yoh can see from the photo if was cooked really nice. I love the large size pepperoni, it’s a nice change from the smaller size ones you find on most pizzas.

The crust is on the thin size and was very good. The sauce was excellent. If they can keep cooking my pizzas like this I will gladly go back.

STOP reading reviews and go inside already. Seriously. My family and I tried the Sicilian chicken parm and it was next-level amazing. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, with melty cheese and the perfect amount of sauce on thick, fluffy Sicilian slices. Absolute perfection. You cannot go wrong here. If you love chicken fingers, this place will be your new obsession. And the beach pizza?! I used to drive all the way to Salisbury Beach for this — not anymore. Sorry for no pictures… it was too good to wait.

The food is fine. The delivery operation is a hot mess – don’t do it. Below is just the latest of fails.

This place is very obviously built for takeout and delivery (there is essentially no dine-in experience) so it’s genuinely impressive how poorly they manage it. When delivery fails (and it does), they don’t fix the problem. They deflect it and then the service gets worse.

So Uber Eats delivered the wrong order. When the driver couldn’t retrieve our actual order, I drove to the restaurant myself to pick it up. Our food was sitting there. They refused to release it unless we returned the incorrect order—food that, once delivered, cannot legally be re-served (ew).

They claimed the driver picked up the wrong order, which points to a basic failure in order labeling and pickup control. Instead of correcting their breakdown, they doubled down and made it my problem. I would have even paid for our food (again) but they were so ridiculous at the counter about getting the old food (red flags) that I left.

It’s not me, it’s you. Embarrassingly bad execution and hostile customer service. If delivery is your entire model, this level of incompetence is indefensible.

This is in response to the owner who reached out earlier. To answer your question, yes, I placed an order for two items. The Grubhub driver delivered one of them, and when I asked where the other item was, they understood the order to only have one item, even though they saw the receipt that had two items listed. Grubhub resolved the issue treated it as a restaurant error refunded the water earlier today.

this is and will be my first and only time ordering from this chain in Quincy. They forced customers to use third-party delivery apps like GrubHub. Orders do not arrive intact. When customers call the restaurant and automated system answers the automated system is willing to take orders over the phone, but will not transfer to an active person. The system will tell you it is transferring you to an agent in the store and nobody answers. And automated recording answers telling you the call cannot be completed after five or six rings. These are the screenshots of multiple locations. I called this evening one of them. I’ve called 6 times in an attempt to speak to a person. I called the East Boston location once and the Quincy location multiple times.

Me and my gf came here for the first time. Never been before probably because its location is just so easy to drive by considering it’s at a major intersection. Anyway, we got the caprese sandwich, chicken caesar salad sub and truffle fries. Literally, everything was amazing. They know how to do bread here. It’s was cooked perfectly, not soggy, not hard and burnt, ingredients were fresh and tasted great. Fries were perfect as well, not soggy, not too crispy, literally just right. Service was quick, the team in there was friendly, got us everything we needed, like idk what else to say. Go here and enjoy, it’s fire.
