I’ve been to this location several times in the last 6 months and it’s always been sooo good that I rave about it to everyone. Until today. My munchie bites were basically dry. It was such a disappointment when I opened the container and I saw the mound of dry chicken. I even started digging around to see if there was any sauce pooled at the bottom and there wasn’t. I’ve never ordered them xtra wet because I’ve never needed to. I’m hoping I caught them on a bad day but this experience makes me not want to order again.

Ive been to the 36th location and Loved it so I was expecting a similar experience. That sadly isn’t the case. The wings are dry, the garlic parm barely had any parm, just all butter. The butter also PUDDLED into the fries. Same thing with my husband’s buffalo hot wings. The food was cold when we got home, 8 minute drive for reference. The okra is soggy and also cold. Everything is practically tasteless. What a disappointment.

The wings are literally floating in grease. I don’t know if they just dump straight from their fryer into the Togo box, but the wings just taste like burnt dirty oil. I cleaned them off, added my own sauce, and they were a little better. I’ve worked as a chef for many years, and I don’t know why local restaurants near Ocala, don’t just fry & then sauce their wings. Why?!!

I was nervous about ordering from here because of the recent negative reviews, but the 5 star rating convinced me. My wings were hot and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to not receive the garbage jumbo wings that a lot of places serve. These wings were normal wing size. Covered in sauce. The skin wasn’t rubbery, the chicken wasn’t stringy. The ranch was good. The place was busy with orders.

I usually do not make negative reviews UNLESS it’s really bad …. This was REALLY bad.
I’m not sure what happened to this location. The service /wings in the last year or so has been terrible ! I feel like the pictures speak a thousand words.
This is what 52$ gets you at this location.
This is not okay . VERY small HARD wings that look like they were cooked in old grease … if we found one with a little meat on it , it was awful. Tasted as old as they look and extremely dry – no flavor ! Definitely not lemon pepper !
Get it together guys ! People work hard for their money. If you don’t take your job serious enough to treat your customers like you would your family coming in there to eat , then choose another profession! Don’t get lazy because it’s 2 hours or so until closing ! If you’re still open then people should get and deserve fresh food cooked in fresh grease AND not THIS much grease !

Learning Life
I have been ordering from Crunchies and Munchies for a long time now. I rarely have issues with my order, but recently I’m becoming more and more frustrated with this place. I spent $70 on wings for delivery and specifically asked in the request box that my fries be cooked extra crispy because I don’t like them soggy. Well, this is the third time now that my request was not acknowledged. Fries are as soggy as ever. When paying for food, I expect to at least receive what I asked. Please do better or I’ll just choose food from elsewhere.

I ordered the 50 wing afternoon special. The total on the bill came to $47.07. The wings were average. If you want to spend this kind of money on average wings then that is your choice. The establishment didn’t have the best customer service and was not very clean. I asked if I could substitute the Cole slaw and was told I would get extra fries. I was told the regular fries feed 4 people. The fries I got barely fed 4 people where was the extra? Also with 50 wings I only got 4 sauce cups. I asked for extra and the lady tried to charge me more money for ranch sauce. 4 sauces for 50 wings ??? Who thinks that’s enough ? I would rather get wings from Publix. If I were you I would just take my advice and skip this place. Save yourself the trouble.

I have ordered from here so many times within the past couple years and I never had such dry and bad wings . I asked for extra flavor on my 15 mild and 15 honey mustard wings . They totally skipped the mild flavor and put little no flavor .. so disappointing to spend $50 and get wings that I couldn’t even eat : (
