I was just delighted with the food here. Inventive and delicious – they even managed to make whelk taste nice.

Restroom is a little janky in a charming way. The outdoor seating is done well for a parklet. Paper napkins. Waitress was lovely. We did a long lunch and never felt rushed.

Left feel extremely contented. Really can’t hard on how well they’re doing crudos enough. Blissful uni.

This was an outstanding dining experience.

Crudo e Nudo change their menu constantly based on what has been freshly caught. That dedicated to sourcing food based on seasonality is evident in their fresh and flavorful dishes.

Everything from the sauces, to the broths, to the quality and flavour of the fish, is truly remarkable. I literally polished off each of my plates. Even the shishito peppers blew me away!

The server was also very attentive, and ensure a gluten free safe meal

If you don’t mind a splurge (or being treated like me ), this is a definite, definite must in the area.

Food is pretty, uni taco and tuna toast is tasty. The nachos were very salty. And the crudo trio was very salty as well. No one asking how was the food, and offering more water. We finished entire bottle of water!

Found this quaint little place in Santa Monica when meeting up with friends traveling from Germany. The menu seems fluid, so don’t count on dishes being the same. We had oysters, a couple of there Ceasar Goes Vegan salads. Don’t recall the exact dressing recipe, but it had avocado in it which gave it a creamy texture. Also, had their grilled prawns. Nicely spiced with heads on and juicy. Last dish was their melon salad, an excellent dish with great flavor composition. Would definitely recommend. It is a “small plates” restaurant, so go prepared to order a lot of dishes, or go when not very hungry.

Saw the tuna tartar toast and it looked amazing. Prices were reasonable.

Crudo e Nudo is truly a special place. One of my favorite restaurants in all of LA. I had the tasting menu for lunch and every single dish I received was spectacular. It was incredibly well priced. With the quality they are serving, they should be charging double.

The chef lets the ingredients speak for themselves . You can tell that they use the highest quality fish and they do little to the seafood, but they know how to elevate each ingredients.

The Kampachi and percebes really stood out to me. As well as the grilled prawns with the green melon. Truly unbelievable. Every single dish on the menu is 10 out of 10. You will not disappointed with a meal here, please treat yourself and go as soon as you can.

It was not just a memorable meal, it was a memorable evening! Casual and cozy, with a very warm and accommodating staff, but the hostess/sommelier/waitress (I believe her name is Lena) really stood out and made us feel welcome and special – she was so cute and funny! The changing menu is on a chalkboard inside and Lena answered all of our questions. It is divided in half with raw dishes at the top and cooked dishes on the bottom. We did have an early reservation because one of our group had tickets for a concert, however, we had 2 1/2 hours of well-paced, shared and amazing dishes. We ordered the Crudo Trio – each table gets a surprise selection or you can order individual crudos. Don’t forget the Juan Isaac sourdough bread which you must dip in the infused oils/marinades, each one of the trio is different, creative and heavenly. That was followed by roasted collars from a special type of rockfish, then gnocchi (fresh and handmade which we witnessed when walking through the kitchen to the restroom), with chanterelle mushrooms. The chocolate almond butter cups were also incredible. Best to make reservations – parking in the back along Nielson Way in pay-per-space lots. I can’t wait to return to this lovely restaurant!

Had such an excellent dinner here yesterday. We ordered the Crudo trio sampler, two tuna toasts, and one garden vegetable mezze. Everything we ordered was excellent and so insanely fresh. The mezze had fun, uncommon vegetables and the tomato Crudo was such a unique and creative preparation !! Everything tasted fantastic and the ambiance outside is perfect for summer. The tuna on the tuna toasts melted in our mouths, so buttery. The sesame bread too was also so delicious.

We specifically chose to spend our Valentine’s dinner here because of it being lighter seafood fare, after triple checking on their website/socials/resy that they didn’t have a prix fixe menu. We had a big picnic of sorts earlier in the day, so we wanted to spend the evening eating lighter dishes and enjoy more drinks.

But guess what? We were locked into the $125 pp prix fixe once we arrived. And canceling then would’ve costed $30 deposit per person and nowhere else to go, so we stuck it through.

We probably would’ve spent more a la carte by ordering more raw seafood and more drinks, instead of being locked into two big plates of veggies/salad and a rich creamy gnocchi.

I overheard other tables questioning the same thing, so we weren’t the only ones feeling slighted by the bait and switch. Not to mention the waitresses were not that friendly, especially when for every other table they had to tell diners to go back inside to check the drinks menu board. They were either not letting them know before seating or just expected people to know.

It’s funny because why not just post the menu online via QR code on each table? Cause people taking photos of the board themselves and then having to send it to their partners isn’t going to get people off their phones during dinner either.

It’s totally fine and reasonable to do a prix fixe menu on special events, but it ought to be communicated to those who PAID to reserve a seat in advance.

Really great dining experience for fresh seafood. The crudo trio was amazing – the bluefin with grated tomato and basil was the star for us. We were so happy with every single dish that came out. No notes.

Very nice discovery on Main Street. Let me start why only 4 stars and not 5. Simply service was slow, very slow… however I don’t want that to impede too much on the rest, as the waitress was extremely nice and we were in the middle of the afternoon in between 2 shifts. It also certainly means their fish is prepared and cut fresh, hence the wait. I’ll certainly go back and that might be an opportunity to review my note then in case we have a faster turn around.
Let’s go to the food, great selection of raw fishes and seafood such the abalone or halibut. They do have a couple of vegetarian options such the mezze, the salad and the potatoes. However, if you come here, be ready to eat some fish. Or drink…The wine list is straight to the point and definitely nice to pair with your dishes.
