What kind of New England seafood doesn’t have 1 crab item on the menu? Odd, right? But lots of clams! My husband had their NE clam chowder 4:5 stars, thick & flavorful. The rest of us don’t care for clams because like oysters and mussels, they taste sandy and gritty.

The broccoli au gratin is delicious, like real good. The chowder is tasty, a few clams per fried balls of dough, good but toss in a couple more for the next guy. The fish was cooked to perfection and super moist. Nice spot looking out from the bar, great service.

Well, the day we came here was my husbands 72nd birthday. So he was in celebration mode, first drinks to toast his day, awesome. Second, his appetizers were a bowl of white chowder with clam cakes and 1 1/2 lbs of steamers. Yes, he had 2, and he ate every drop. He ended his meal with a Lobster roll with fries (no dessert because he knew he had one waiting at home). He said that his food was delicious, and he kept telling anyone who would listen he had just had the best steamers. Our waiter was super, there when you needed him not intrusive nor absent like some can be. If you haven’t been, go give them a try. There is outdoor seating as well. Enjoy, we did.

Very very accommodating to me and my wife and 2 kids. Not only was the food amazing but it was really fast. Chowder was great and they let me try the red as well. Oysters were fresh and lovely, also the mixed cocktails were great. So glad we found this place.

Great little place, and Junior was fabulous. Naked lobster, yum. Calimari was tender and fresh. Absolute recommendation. Make a memory and spend the time waiting – talking and enjoying.

I didn’t take enough photos, but come here, ask for Althea and order the baked stuffed shrimp. The food all around was amazing, the atmosphere is chill but upscale with AMAZING prices for food. Althea is so personable and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed everything about dinner. I wanted a sangria but I don’t care for vodka and she was going to ask what rum to use but the bartender in her section was busy. She went and found another bartender to ask them to accommodate me and put the order in. The music was a nice level not too loud you can’t talk but enjoyable. May need to drive back to RI just to come here.

Best baked stuffed lobster I have ever had, the steamers were great also ! Took my wife for our 12 year anniversary, and the food and atmosphere was just fantastic! Highly recommend The Crows Nest !

Our waitress was the best waitress I’ve ever had. She was so sweet and took pictures for us because it was mine and my mothers birthday! The food was good but expensive for the amount of food that was given. It’s a waterfront restaurant but it feels like it’s in the middle of a boat yard so all you see is boats and not the water.

I had lunch here. The steamers were DELICIOUS! I was a little underwhelmed by the chowder as I have high standards since I grew up in RI. It was good, not great. The half lobster roll was very good. I will dine here again. 🙂

Service is amazing! Food – not so much. A good spot on the marina. It was pretty empty for the evening but I got in late. The chowder was bland and I could not eat it. I got a scallops dish which was ok. The clam balls were on the dry side. They rectified it right away, which I really appreciated.
