Went in with a co-worker we stood in 2 separate place unintentionally. I figured the server would stop with me first since I was closest and she made eye contact with me. [ I’m 6’3″, so her excuse of not seeing my flies out the window!-] She bypassed me and served him. He motioned to buy my drink with I declined. As I walked down he asked why I no longer wanted a drink. I told him that she literally looked at me and passed by to him– that my money was as good as anybody else’s. She said I was coming to you next– my exact point you saw me and helped someone else. She poured his drink out and kicked us out. She was upset that she overheard my comment made to my friend. She proceeds to get the bouncers over and made a huge scene. I don’t regret saying it, I don’t regret her hearing it. Maybe next time she’ll think and do the right thing!
I’ve been here before on a couple occasions (different servers) and never had this experience! I’m 6’3″, so her excuse of not seeing my flies out the window!

My friends recommended this place and I was not disappointed! The bartender (C.C.) was very personable yet maintained being professional which is a valuable trait in the restaurant/bar industry. The interior has a really great vibe/style and they have a decent beer selection. My only warning is that they have one restroom (as is common in historic buildings). It was very clean and nice but I can imagine it poses some challenges on busy weekend nights.

Service was good until time to pay. I don’t live in the US and I am not familiar with the payment tablets. The bartender got shitty with me because she thought I was taking too long to use the payment tablet. I did leave a good tip but in hindsight I wish I hadn’t. Maybe she was just having a bad night.

Good atmosphere, terrible service. Petite skinny brunette behind bar, wearing AC/DC shirt and flat bootay is too busy chatting with buddies and not tending to patrons. It’s Wednesday night, and there are 5 customers in here. I won’t be back.

Love the crown pub… it’s a nice place to go unwind after working hard!! Courtney is absolutely the best bartender ever!! We NEVER wait long for our drinks… she always has a friendly smile and is always looking out for the best interest of the customers as well as the pub!! Wish I could clone every bartender to be like her!!

Fun, little bar in downtown. Casual, laid back atmosphere. Folks here are usually in a good mood, but not too rowdy. Drinks are made right and sold for a reasonable price. If you get hungry, a few nearby restaurants will deliver right to the bar. 🙂 Staff has always been friendly and courteous to me.

Edit: I went back and bought something that I think they called a Malibu Barbie. As it happens, I think it had alcohol in it. It was completely devoid of that effect that proves the drink is flammable. That’s the part I was most satisfied with. After all, I originally visited the place to compare a Sloe Gin Fizz, an Alabama Slammer and the alcoholic version of Hawaiian Punch. They were unprepared to make any of these. It was after I asked if they had anything that gets people drunk without tasting like fuel when the server suggested the drink that I enjoyed. I’d return if I were a drinker.

Love the Crown Pub! Have been going there for years. Lil B Is the best bartender there. Friendly af! The owner, Jake, makes you feel welcome and the drinks are always on point! (mainly Lil B’s drinks). Great company and atmosphere. Favorite bar in Durant You must go here any time you’re in the area!
