The ghost burger has to be the best burger I have ever had!!! The history in the building is amazing. A staple when you head in or out of Virginia City.

Visiting the area and the restaurant was recommended. It was a very good choice. My husband had lobster bisque and the 5-cheese fried ravioli. I had Alfredo penne pasta. Both came out hot, and the presentation was marvelous. We’d ordered pre-dinner salads, which were actually too big. Our drinks were perfect too – a gin martini and a “dead mule” which is like a Moscow Mule except with a local gin brand called Cemetery gin.

This place has been here forever and still delivers a great experience. Kind of out of the way but totally worth the trip. Excellent service and food to match on this visit. Good idea to call ahead for reservations.

I found the price per plate to be a tad overpriced, however the food held up. The steak was cooked to perfection, bacon wrapped prawns were on point and the mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious. Where the experience was lacking was with the service.

Great food, great people, and wonderful atmosphere in Virginia City. The deep fried ice cream dessert is the bomb! Order it with their homemade peanut buddies ice cream – yum!

My husband and I were celebrating an anniversary and decided to return to historic Virginia City, NV where we were wed 9 yrs. ago! We had hotel reservations at the Gold Hill Hotel (A short drive from VC) and for the sake of convenience, made dinner reservations for the Crown Point right at the hotel. Wow! Just wow! You could choose to sit in the (full) bar area or a casual inside dining area, a patio area or, a “fine-dining” room complete with white linen table cloths and napkins. Our server was delightful, efficient and although new at this establishment, was completely at ease and helpful with menu selections. I had the ribeye steak with lobster ravioli and my husband had the Crown Point Chicken. My steak was cooked to perfection and the ravioli was enhanced with a really nice sauce. The chicken dish had been the recommendation of a “regular” we met in the bar area and according to my husband, it was amazing! The Beurre Blanc sauce being the all time great topper! For dessert, we shared a chocolate lava cake accompanied with a scoop of ice cream and covered with chocolate sauce. We did not expect such a wonderful culinary experience in what some my consider an “off the beaten path” location. We waddled off to our room already planning another visit.

As with most Restaurants, low on staff this night. Food was excellent, as it got busier, staff and service became lengthier.

We had the buffet. The food was good. The choices were very limited. The staff was friendly, professional, and prompt.
