The garden of this restaurant is the attracting view. The garden is open (once the staff opens it) and you can go in for the view or picture taking. Now the food is typical average, came during dinner hours. The food is very similar to other restaurants where I have been too. The food is not bad yet not surprisingly good as well. For dim sum, I have good ones so it is average as well. The service is mellow and slow. The staff that walks around is decent speed and average time taking, the thing is when asking for the bill. It does take quite some time to get the bill (for me not sure about how long others get their bill). The staffs are friendly and well mannered so far.

A really awesome experience for some yummy dim sums. They have carts that go around with variety of food and you grab as many as you like. It’s usually from 11 to 3 but call ahead to confirm the days.

I will not return to Crown Palace. The food was subpar and almost inedible. The restaurant is old and rundown. Looks like it was a nice place at one point in time. The fried rice tasted oddly like cinnamon, pork in the soup was dry and tasted old. Paid $18 for regular Chinese food that didn’t even taste good… all the recent reviews for this place reflect my sentiment.

It’s a wonderful atmosphere during weekdays and things on their regular menus taste really good. The dry stirred fried beef noodle is super delicious. Also their dim sum is a must try on the weekend. The desserts are okay, nothing to write home about but appreciate the variety. If I remember correctly, their durian dessert tasted extremely good.

We’ve been going to Crown Palace for dim sum for 30 years. We loved it. It has really gone downhill over the past few years. We didn’t enjoy our experience during our last visits. The dim sum wasn’t as tasty as it used to be and there wasn’t much of a variety. The dining rooms are in need of a deep cleaning. We miss manager/head waiter, James, who we haven’t seen in a few years.

Even as a night as busy as tonight was (Christmas eve) the staff was consistently friendly and professional. Our waiter Andy was especially welcoming and kind.
