I’ve been wanting to try Crown Chicken for some time as I’ve heard great things. Went in around noon, and it was pretty quiet inside. I wasn’t sure what to get to I played it safe and got myself 3 tenders, not realizing how big they would be. These tenders were MASSIVE. Not only massive, but they were fresh and cooked very well! Not dry at all. Juicy tenders. The man at the front, Vik, was super helpful and helped me around the menu and the sauces they offer. The service was amazing, and he was super kind. Great service, great people, great chicken. I’ll be back. Thank you Vik!!!

Quality of food has gone down over the years. My chicken was clearly sitting under a lamp for hours and fried in old grease. I went back and had them make some new chicken and it was still hard and very clear that it was fried in old oil. Never again

I will never ever come to this establishment again I purchased six wings and two waffles and four of my wings were undercooked and not done. I’ve called this establishment multiple times to get a refund back and no one answers the phone. I called for three days straight, and no one answered the phone. When I finally came to the place of business after work, the current manager their name Steve came out and said he would only refund me back the price of one waffle which is $4.59. my overall total was $20.71 and Steve told me that there was no other way to contact the other manager unless I called the store again, I’ve called the store for three days straight on the hour and still no one answered. When I came into the store today there were four people on the floor behind the counter, and not one person could tell me of when they couldn’t answer the phone. Steve told me the only reason as of why they couldn’t answer the phone was because there must be another customer in the place. But in all actuality, there’s no business in the inside no one eats their food inside of this restaurant, and every order that they take a takeout order. I asked for a full refund, and the only thing that Steve can offer me was a couple of pieces of chicken, why would I feel safe to get more chicken now when my original order was not even cooked completely?
Doesn’t make any sense right. I will NEVER recommend anyone to eat from this nasty establishment.

We have been loyal customers for years. But things are what they use to be. Today we went there for breakfast and my husband’s eggs looked as if they were cooked on a dirty grill and were fried so hard you need a knife with them. I ordered the chicken and waffles. This was the first time both had ever been put in the same containers. And to say it was disgusting when we opened it once we got home is an understatement. They definitely are not what they use to be and that’s very disappointing.

Came here after starting a post on Next Door in seek of recommendations for the best fried chicken in SoMD…….many people told me to come here so I did. And I did again. So far this is the best fried chicken in Waldorf, would give them 6 stars if I could. Finally found a place with enough/legitimate seasoning on their chicken, and the sides are terrific too. Perhaps even better than the food is the service. Everyone who works here…..old, young, male, female, doesn’t matter……they’re all incredibly nice and friendly. Don’t let the awkward turn off Leonardtown Rd. deter you from coming here! Will be back again and again.

Food was not good at all. I ordered wings with fries and 2 peice fish with fries. I was given chicken that looked like it had been sitting out all day. It was very greasy and all of the skin had fallen off. I asked if I could please have different peices and the young lady said “ I can just tell them to re-fry it to make it crispier”. I said no thank you and I asked for fish instead. While she did comp the fish for the inconvenience, the fish was cooked way to long and dried out. I got all the way home to find out that my other order of fish was also burnt. This is what they are selling. Such a waste of money.

This was my 1st time ordering from this place through door dash. Although the chicken and waffles were good, the mac and cheese must be a hit or miss because I received burnt mac and cheese and we were charged $4 for an orange soda (hoping it was a 2 liter) and they gave us welches orange pineapple juice. So disappointed that one would pay for food and they can’t get the entire order right.

Was a bit disappointed we couldn’t dine in. Did not look super clean inside. Guy behind the counter was nice and helpful. Got the 6 piece wings with waffle plus a side of fries. Chicken was OK, big wings, by far not the best I’ve ever had. Waffle was better than a waffle house waffle, but the fries were dry and disappointing. Overall, not an experience good enough to leave me wanting to retun.
