The first time I ordered from here the food was really good. This time it’s not as good and I went inside and had to experience their service which brought it down to a one. The last time I ordered chicken strips they were delicious homemade chicken strips that looked like the picture in the menu. Today I got these shriveled up tiny chicken fries that were obv frozen. I would never spend $7 on them had i known. They asked if I wanted tartar shrimp for my 21 baby fried shrimp. I said yes please.. They didn’t give me any. They also got my whole order wrong after I repeated it three times. They gave me three orders of fries. I asked for honey mustard for the 15 chicken strips and the three orders of fries and my spicy chicken sandwich. They gave me one tiny prepackaged one.
The gyro had almost no meat on it. There were like five cubes? I’ve also never had a gyro that was cubed and not sliced off the giant rotating thing that makes it delicious.
When I went up to tell them my named for the order i called in, they had it right in front of them and instead of having me pay and giving it right to me they sat there and talked to each other for minutes while I just stared at them, taking their sweet time.
And $45 for a gyro, fried shrimp, Frozen chicken fries and french fries is outrageous
Never again very disappointing.

Dynamite chicken thighs. Not sure if blasting Indian music so the white and black customers had to yell their orders is best for business, but chicken thighs were great. Oh and mac & cheese was old and heat light overcooked. But the chicken thighs were worth it, lol.

Wow. I have never had chicken and rice like this before. It was absolutely amazing! Good and fresh ingredients. So Good I ordered another and packed it up to bring back home with me. I’ve been trying to located this dish since I touch back down in ATL and I can not find it. Service was fast and the food arrived hot. I added a Philly as well as a Hot Apple Turnover and Sweet Potato pie for later in the evening.

I’m so grateful for Crown Fried Chicken they are one of the only food places that stay open late night. Middletown after 9pm there really isn’t much to eat but crown is a lifesaver. Love ordering from here when I get the late night munchies. They always get my order right and I’ve never had a problem with them.

2025 Edit to last year’s review:
Food preparation has gone down (2 stars from 4). I ordered today and it was mostly in edible. I got the 9 piece box which arrived as 4 wings (under cooked) 2 chicken legs (cooked ok) and 3 chicken breasts that were overcooked to the point of being dried out. Rolls were also hard as bricks. So disappointing!!
50% going to the trash. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

Clean place with moderately friendly service & ample parking.
Food taste is consistently good.
Atmosphere is clean. Not many places to sit & eat in.
For small orders, the service is quick. Large orders are cooked to order. They do a lot of business so food is fresh either way. Salads are plain, basically some iceberg lettuce & a few veggies.
Prices are reasonable.
Only 4 stars due to quality control: 1) Chicken wings, while meatier & less greasy that surrounding places, has occasional feathers. 2) Also ordered a 12 piece wings & got 11. Normally get 12 ( once or twice 13).
Still would recommend. Not sure if suitable for strict vegetarians since quality control isn’t the best

My husband and I felt welcomed in both body and stomach. Great food, great portions, great taste, and great prices! Our new favorite place.

Chicken sandwich was delicious! They make it fresh so it takes a bit to get but it’s totally worth it. I think next time I’ll call ahead so I don’t have to wait as long.

The chicken was dry and flavorless.The mixed grill with rice wasn’t too bad,but the salad was only chopped up iceberg lettuce and a few not so tasty tomatoes and few slivers of green peppers.Overall I wasn’t impressed. I will continue to go to Kennedy’s.
Well I decided to try this place again to see how it was going since I know of a few people who say it’s good.The fried chicken was over cooked and dry,now that might be some peoples preference but it’s not mine. I made the mistake and ordered a 12 piece for the family never again. I received 6 dry chicken “breast” more like chicken rib cage,only 1 leg,2 thighs,3 wings
all cooked well done and you couldn’t even enjoy the skin be cause of the dryness and flavor. I will continue to go elsewhere,to each his own. I can’t change the rating but it would be 1 star
