I called ahead to inquire about if the food was spicy as I tried the halal spot up the street from them and couldn’t get beyond a fork full because it was WAAYYY too spicy. Figured I’d give these guys a try and THANK God I did!!! Not only was there a huge amount of food but the little kick of spice was not over baring and left space for plenty of favor. I asked for extra white sauce and they delivered on that as well. They were nice accommodating and the food was good. This was my first time goin there so I did call and let them know the food was great and you could tell the guy needed to hear that you could hear him smile through the phone I’m not sure why this place isn’t way busier but trust me it’s worth it! As a New Yorker I think this is the closest you’ll get to NY truck stand halal. I APPROVE!!!

So today we decided to stop here to try Lamb over rice and I’m so happy we did !!! lots of Rice and we also ask for extra lamb . Food over all tasted great you must try if you are in the area this location is easy to find not a lot of parking!

I am a regular customer of Crown Fried Chicken for last 5 years and I must say the taste of the foods remain excellent. Chicken over rice, lamb over rice, chicken wings and fries, gyros these are the speciality items and MUST TRY from this place. The foods are really good and fairly priced. Overall a great place to eat in Scranton.

Pretty good chicken at a decent price. Ordered a 3 piece mix and fish sandwich. Fish was a pre made patty which was ok. Had guros and other items. Will try something different next time

Halal platter did not taste good, and actually had a weird smell to it. I’ve had way better halal in my life not to mention the location is pretty run down and I get the vibes it’s not the most sanitary place to eat from. Guy at the counter was at least decently nice, other staff not so much.

The food here used to slap, but now it depends on who is working. As of recently its been over greasy, served cold or worse. If you want consistent good halal, find a food truck and stay away from here.

My favorite dish from here is the chicken over rice with white sauce. The fried chicken is good too, but the chicken over rice is incredible. The price also can’t be beat and ever since they moved into the new building it’s been better than ever. I also love that they’re open late so I can stop in to grab dinner after work. The staff is also very friendly. I go a few times a month and am always satisfied!

Absolutely My all time new favorite chicken, I went there with my good friend Barbie doll. Considerably went at Approximately2 AM I was not expecting the place to be open. However not only were they open but considering my debit card was not working for some reason at that time, It was extremely surprising to see the man behind the register gave us our chicken for free. You don’t normally get free food that tastes good not these days.
