Crown Fried Chicken in Peekskill came through for me when I needed a quick lunch at 3 pm today. The fried wings were exactly as I liked them — crispy without too much batter and served without being drenched in sauce. For a side, I got a coleslaw that was fresh and crunchy. The chicken is heaps better than what’s served in better-known establishments.
Service was fast, efficient, and courteous. It’s great that the store, which does mostly takeout business, has a few very clean tables and chairs for eat-in folks.

So this place used to be around about 4-5 years ago and it was a town favorite. Now they’re back and the menu is AMAZING! This place has food from halal to burgers to salads and also their famous fried chicken. If you like halal, I recommend the “Mixed Halal Platter”, it was simply phenomenal. This is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Peekskill, just one thing is that the seating is limited and close to the counter, so I give it 3 stars there. Other than that, the price-to-quality ratio is great, you 100% get the quality that you pay for, and the prices are very reasonable!

Horrible, rude. Ordered a meal through DD and these guys sent the sides but no entree. When I called, the person on the phone was rude, claiming he had no order with my name. I’ve worked with DD delivery before. All merchants have a portal where they can see the names of customers so I knew he was lying. When I tried to explain, he hung up on me. Great way to do business. For now on, Halal Bros. Will get my business.

Delicious food! Tried their chicken wings, shrimp basket, and halal platters… everything is the way I remember it back in the boroughs: great big portions and very fairly priced. Give them a try, you might just go back for more!

I’ve only taken out from here twice, and both times I got the wings. They are that good that I had to leave this five-star review. I don’t use the hot sauce, or anything, but think that they might be nice with blue cheese dressing. I also tried the cole slaw, which is okay.

This establishment recently opened after a long hiatus. The lines are very long and the wait time isn’t worth it. The fried chicken is dry, overcooked, and has very little flavor. It appears that the oil hasn’t been changed or is so hot it burns the chicken. They could’ve at least renovated the eatery. The cooks were walking in and out with no hand washing and no gloves.
