I’m a huge fan of Crown Chicken, and my family and I order from there all the time! We love supporting local businesses and getting a taste of our community. The chicken is amazing – it reminds me of my old neighborhood and brings back great memories.
However, I have to say that the mashed potatoes I ordered today were a major letdown. I’ve had them before, but this time I actually ate them, and… wow. The gravy tastes like something you’d put in your car, like fuel oil or something! I’m not sure what went wrong, but please, please fix it! Don’t give us a reason to stop ordering from you, because the chicken is fire!
I just want Crown Chicken to keep doing what they’re doing with the chicken, and ditch the bad gravy. We’re loyal customers, and we want to keep coming back!

It’s a great value on the way to the beach (Sandy Hook) quality ~ price! The food was delicious! We got 2 mixed platters chicken & lamb with basmati rice and side salad, herb spicy dairy free dressing + 2 small waters included! The portions are BIG! We only paid 23$ for all! Everything’s halal. And such a nice man works there too! Definitely recommend!

I’d been here before. No real complaints. This time I got home with my “Family Dinner” and the very first bite!!! Tasted like old dirty fishy oil and that the chicken had been sitting out for way to long. Actually smelled like it may be bad…..someone please explain the weird orange stuff in the picture on my regular old fried chicken. Additionally the dinner rolls are a joke. Hard as rocks and no taste. Fries were the only things that was fresh, and they were pretty good. Never Again!

Went here today.. for the first time.. Let me tell you.. The service was outstanding.. Food was freshly made to order (and we had quiet a big order).. The chicken is seasoned perfectly.. juicy AND still had crispy skin.. omg !! Also.. the ❤️ beef patties❤️ are my favorite.. The owner was wonderful.. Everyone was so polite.. friendly.. attentive.. & the overall energy was just awesome.. This establishment is super clean and you really can’t beat their prices for some really great food..

The price was great. The rice with a little on the oily side, but the food was solid. Menu is HUGE so mileage may vary. Guy who runs the place is friendly and outgoing.

Staff is very friendly to have nice chats with, gives off a warm comfortable vibes. Food is 10/10. I got the beef gyro and it’s perfect how it comes. Will be coming more often!
