Wow. As someone who grew up with Crown Burger this couldn’t be more disappointing and gross.
We ordered a Greek Salad with extra Tomatos ( asked three times) and there are 4 little tomato slices, and asked to add gyro meat( cost $4 extra) There was only a sprinkling of little gyro slices (might as well of been bacon bits) and 4 olives ( does this look like a $16 Greek salad) The fish and chips were $20 dollars!, This is the most expensive item on their menu. (Does this look like a $20 meal?) We had to throw half of the fries away because they were soaking wet, and who knows what this bread is.
We were there for 18 minutes before we got our order and there were only three people in the restaurant and where already eating; during dinner time!!!! ( Based on this experience I’m not surprised why it was dead)
The flippant way the lady told me “We don’t refund for tomoatoes” and I said ” You don’t actually think I’m making all this effort to call you about this just for tomatoes. The entire salad is terrible ” I try to give people a call first before going to Google” ” and she said, oh no you go ahead and do that. If you want a refund, you can drive in the rain and bring back the salad.” It’s pretty obvious, the owner and or GM gives no crap about the quality of the restaurant and the customer experience. Because their team would absolutely know better.
I guess not all Crown Burgers are created equal. I’ll keep my business at the location on North Temple and 3rd West. I’ve been going there since high school, and never had anything remotely like this happen.
Let me provide some perspective about the customer experience that happened to me just 20 minutes before this incident. I purchased a gate from a business on Facebook Marketplace, and it had a part missing. I contacted the company to ask them if they could provide me a contact for the maker so I could ask them to send me a replacement part. He told me “Nope I won’t make you wait for that, l’ll just give you a new gate.” And I tried to talk him into letting me at least pay half for the replacement, because it’s not his fault a part was missing. He refused. And he definitely didn’t tell me bring it back. In fact! He told me to hold onto it and maybe I can find another use for it.
Do Better.
* Response to owners reply: Sir, I did. And the lady on the phone told me he wouldn’t talk to me. After she repeatedly put me on hold for 3-5 minutes.

Me and my son went out to crown burger. It’s one of our favorite places. We actually went in and sat down this time. We ordered our food. I added jalapenos onto my burger. Unfortunately, they did not put it on, but when I went up to the lady that was handing out food, she said that she would get it out to me and come bring it to me. She did. And then apologized. They also seem pretty busy, but even though that they were, they still got it out to me. I appreciate it love this place.. Thank you so much for the amazing food.

Ordered the crown burger, jalapeno burger, fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. Food was fresh and hot. The pastrami on the crown burger was so good, and the burger was absolutely LOADED. Delicious burger. The jalapeno burger was even better. Fries were hot and crispy and salted well, sweet potato fries were perfection, and onion rings were also super crispy and sweet. A little pricey for a fast food style burger place but the food was SO good. Plus the “small” onion rings were a massive portion.

This is definitely an older crown burger but they are super quick. The workers didn’t understand most of the customers in front of me wanting to customize their orders, I’m not sure if it was just because they were busy or didn’t speak fluent english. The little old lady running the mic was very quiet so my food sat for a bit til i went up and asked if it was mine. The parking lot is a bit of a mess with how the stalls are arranged. Overall it was pretty good but the food needed salt or some sort of seasoning pretty bad. Higher priced for bland food sadly. I’ll return again in hopes of a better outcome next time.

Yet another spot mentioned on the Venture Addicts YouTube video. My husband had the crown burger and I had the cheese burger. I must one of the best “fast food” burgers I’ve ever had. My husband loved the pastrami on his burger. We had the delicious onion rings a “small” Greek salad and Baklava dessert. Good, good, good and good!

Damn these were good. I just could not eat like I wanted because of the sodium content in these dishes. I tried the original crown with pastrami and it was way to salty for me, so I order just a double and it was amazing. Great staff. The ladies kept the line moving and they were so professional and knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations as well. There were a few item that I wanted to try that I will next time. The double way soo good. Fresh and soft bread. Seem like the steam the buns before adding the meat to it and it was like a pillow. Great food and service. Line kept moving and they were so professional like chxfila. 5/5 for me

Really great burger and fries. It’s getting really expensive though. $21 for a medium drink, fries, and a double bacon cheeseburger. Even if that were a single cheeseburger the price would still be $18. The quality of the food is really great and they let you get as much fry sauce and ketchup and mustard you want, but I’m not getting the price difference in ordering just a burger for $13 and adding on a drink and fries for $6 and of course course tax.
The sauce they put on their burger is really good and the ratio of meat to veggies is perfect. Crispy bacon that melts in your mouth.

Hadn’t been to crown burger in years. Drove by and thought it sounded good. $18 for a combo meal is absolutely absurd! Will never return. Sandwich was dripping wet and soggy. Asked for pickles, not pickle juice. Fries were terrible over cooked. And the fry sauce was more relish than sauce. I felt like a fat kid eating a weight watchers meal, miserable meal!! Again will never return.
