We came to a Konpa dance lesson and this was Our 1st time in this establishment. There’s plenty of space for seating and tables. A big dance floor. A Full bar with plenty of alcohol. That’s food to help coat that drink. The sound system was loud and clear.

The oxtail was tough, but the rice and peas was good They gave me three pieces of oxtail for $27. ‍♀️ Instead of oxtail, they should call it tough tail Lord God don’t bother me

I visited this place one Sunday for konpa and brunch, hoping for a great time, but it turned out to be disappointing. There was no konpa or brunch available, and when we tried to order drinks, they were almost out of the necessary alcohol. Then, when we attempted to order two rasta pasta dishes, one without meat and chicken, we were told they were out of that too. The food options offered were barely vegetarian-friendly, and we ended up with dry rice and peas, unseasoned plantains, and soggy fries. It was a waste of my Sunday, especially after driving from Alexandria, VA.

Checked out this place last weekend and was very satisfied with the food and customer service. I ordered the wings, rice and peas, mac and cheese, curry chicken. Everything was cooked with so much flavor. We also was very grateful for the excellent service we received from our bartender, Nikki. Thanks for a wonderful time.
We wished the DJ was a bit more open to our suggestion to play different selections/style of music. The songs weren’t the most entertaining. Otherwise, all was well with the overall experience. I will be back.

The food is one to be desired. The first dish was flavorless and scorched. It was served with a spoiled side dish that smelled like it had been sitting out all day. This side was in addition to the meal that only came with 1 side at a price point of $25. The value is not on point. The fried plantain was perfect. The second dish I ordered to replace the first dish was more tolerable, but again, no authentic flavor, dry, and scorched. The lamb kabobs were delicious, but there were only 2 small kabobs for $13. The price point is too pricey for this purchase. The beef patties were also dry. I was truly disappointed. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the service was good but not great. Let’s do better.

This my absolute favorite Jamaican restaurant to eat at. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and to me the food is better than any other spot I have been to. My favorite drinks are the Jamaica mi happy and the blue coconut margarita. My favorite food to order here is their oxtails and the Rasta pasta my first choice every-time. The music is great and on different days they always do something different.

Came here a few weeks ago and it was not as expected. There was a charge of $20 that the lady at the door rudely had to let us know but we were VIP. As strongly as she stated how much it was, the place was empty…Still keeping our spirits up, we get to our table and after 45mins of sitting there we had to find someone to help us order a bottle. The person assisting us didn’t even know what bottles they had and couldn’t give us any suggestions. So we just decided to go to the bar to get a few shots and cocktails. When we came back, our seats were taken while waiting on our drinks! The overall vibe was just off and didn’t feel like home for people to come and have fun and get to know each other. Very strict for no one to barely be there. First and last time I’ll go here. There were 2 bartenders out of the entire place that were nice and upbeat. Everyone one else was rude and obviously exhausted looking for whatever reason.

The service was horrible. We sat at a table for an hour, never being served. Once we went to the bar we received our drinks then were told we could not order food while seeing food being brought out to the VIP section. Drinking for hours with no food made us nervous. We were finally able to order and the food was terrible! Shrimp kabobs were over cooked and the chicken kabobs were not done at all!!! We need to do better. Good Customer service is loss these days!
