A small town restaurant with a welcoming, homey vibe. A good variety of food types. A fresh salad bar. Quite busy on a Saturday night. It took about 15 minutes to get seated. It was an enjoyable experience overall with very good food. The chicken breast I had was tender, juicy and tasty. The food took a long time to get to the table but I think the kitchen was just overwhelmed. I’ll go back and try again.

Waited over an hour for our food when it wad not busy. There was a couple that came in 30 minutes after us and got their food before us! Fish was over cooked and our waitress only came to the table to take our order and bring out our food.

I was disappointed this time. The coleslaw had a strange taste to eat and I couldn’t eat it. We got the banana pudding which is usually really good. Today it was cooked too long, dry and bananas were black.

The food was excellent, our server was the best. The only problem I had, does it hurt almost an hour to get our food. And I see another people that had sit down after us and it was already eating.

This food is some of the best southern cooking I’ve had. The team over at Mae’s really know how to take care of their customers. The fried pickles are a must every time I’m in town!

Popcorn shrimp tasted like it was minced, shaped shrimp out of a box. Baked potato was hard and cold. Husband said catfish tasted like we what we buy at Sam’s. On the bright side, sweet tea was good, fried green tomatoes were good. Service was slow but good. Server was nice. Took 35 minutes to get our food and they weren’t busy. Two trips in one, first and last.

My wife and I have ordered from here several times and the quality of our food is never very good. Our steaks are consistently cooked incorrectly. Their fries are bland, mushy, and not seasoned. My wife ordered a salad and it was all lettuce with one tiny slice of tomato and onion. They were less than 2″ in diameter. Their 8 oz. ribeye is now $14.49, up $2. For these prices you would expect to get better food. Probably wont order from here again.

If you are looking for somewhere with fabulous food and great southern hospitality, search no longer! My husband and I are regulars at Crossroads and the staff is always so welcoming! They treat you and feed you like family! I would give them a million stars if I could! Go check them out and get you some good food that makes you feel like you’re in your grandma’s kitchen!

I’ve been eating at this small town restaurant for some 55 years. Yes it has been owned and operated by many different folks. I am originally from Haralson County and used to eat there more often. I now live closer to Atlanta, and when I get the chance I make a run for The Crossroads Restaurant. There salad bar alone is Worth the trip. Everything I have had was super delicious and the service has always been great.
