I stopped by Crossroads Grill and Bar and ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger, asking for it medium. It came out cooked perfectly-juicy with just the right amount of pink in the middle. The Swiss cheese was melted beautifully over the beef, and the sautéed mushrooms added the perfect earthy flavor. I went with onion rings on the side, and they were crisp and golden brown, just as good as they looked. The service was friendly and quick, making the whole experience even better. If you’re in the area and craving a well-cooked, flavorful burger with some deliciously crispy sides, this place is definitely worth a stop.

Had the tacos they were the best I’ve ever had the shells were so yummy not the hard but very crunchy. Hubby had the chicken wings and said they were top notch. Kay was our server is the best.

Super welcoming and friendly staff! Food was standard bar fare but there was a BBQ special offered that day and the Baked Beans were top notch! Something unique in them, All Spice or Nutmeg maybe. Either way, good food and great service!

Expensive food, we went for lunch. Took them 20 minutes to start our food. It ended up being cold. Bacon lettuce ranch didn’t use spicy dressing like it said, and it was cold. Not worth the 15 I paid for it. Without fries I will not return.

I don’t know what happened to this place. It was a great place to go but recently it has fallen on poor service, poor food yet the prices have really gone up. I ordered a Ceasar Salad with grilled chicken, chicken was seasoned heavily with Montreal Chicken seasoning which was ok, the lettuce was sparce and old, not crisp at all, the plate came with Texas Toast but it was thinly sliced white bread that was over buttered. The salad was mostly made up of crutons. The service was crazy slow with the server spending most of her time with the kitchen staff trying to organize orders while ignoring the entire restaurant. It was not busy. I will try it again in a few months. Sorry but this was just disappointing.

Four of us had burgers. Place was only about 2/3 full. Burgers took nearly 25 minutes to arrive. Burgers were flavorful. Buns were standard cheap buns so were destroyed before we finished them. I’ve been told I’m a bread snob and it’s probably true. But patrons should not have to eat their burgers with a fork and knife to get the last half eaten. Napkins don’t stand a chance of cleaning that mess! If they get better buns they will get a better review from me.

Went on BBQ day. Ordered brisket that tasted like it was cooked in a crockpot. Ordered just a Mac and cheese bowl, no meat, regular menu charged full price, meals (3) came out each 7 minutes apart. Taste was nothing to get excited about. Also was accidentally given an appetizer then came back and got it, then took it to another table.

This is just a small town bar. There’s plenty of ways things could be better, yet I’m hoping they’re running on a thin budget, and turnover rather than just not caring. They keep the beer cold, and like many dive bars, one day it’s a good meal, and next time you wonder what happened in the kitchen.

A quaint place halfway between a restaurant and a bar. A cool assortment of games in the back. The food was good for a reasonable price. Had some fried pickles and a side salad. Our waitress was a saint who made us and our kids feel welcomed.
