I attended the Christmas in July Tea and the automatically applied 20% service charge per person made it roughly $80 pp which would be okay however service was a bit lacking. We had to ask for a new napkin and teacup as they were not clean. The decor in the tea room could have been more festive. The service team could have been more attentive to our party however they seemed to step outside after setting down the tea and food. The food itself was good however we expected a bit more for the price point we were paying. The scones were a highlight. The rest of the staff throughout the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The ambience of the overall hotel was lovely.

I ordered shrimp & grits for lunch with a side caesar salad and veggie soup. It was very underwhelming and lacked flavor.

Sat outside on a beautiful evening. There was a wedding reception taking place inside and the noise was very noticeable in the indoor restaurant. The only thing that dampened the experience was the presence of a large number of flies that continually landed on our table and food.

More like a 4.5. Was there for son’s grad dinner. Great setting with lovely settings given the history of the site. Food variety was v good and so was wine selection. The price was a little steep and that’s why the 0.5 short.

This place is located within the Carolina Inn, so it really isn’t noticeable if you’re driving by in traffic. The menu appears to be seasonal as certain options are available during certain times of the year. However if you do stop by I recommend getting the pork shoulder with the cheese grits as your second course. I believe the first course I got was the pork belly, I can’t exactly remember the name but it has bits of Apple in it.

Very disappointed with my meal. My medium rare hamburger took 45 minutes to be served. Was well done and missing the mustard I ordered with my burger. Being short staffed the bar tender was acting as my server and he had no time to focus on my guest experience. I just expected more and was trying my best to be fair but my guest experience was horrible. I cannot recommend Crossroads.

We went there for Thanksgiving brunch. We really enjoyed the place (food, service, and vibes) until we spotted a larva crawling in our salmon. We called our server and we were left with a live larva escaping from the salmon until she brought her manager. They cleaned it only after we asked. According to the manager, they spotted more larvae in the salmon dish (it was buffet-style brunch) and it turned out that the cook didn’t remove the skin carefully so some larvae penetrated to the serving portion. Not the experience we would expect from this quality restaurant.
