Loved the ambience of the place. The food was super tasty and really good portions. The chips are insanely good, along with the guacamole. Our beverages were not only pretty but tasty as well. The staff were all so nice and attentive. Definitely will be back!

My husband and I kicked off Valentine’s Day here, and we’re already planning our next visit! We tried both versions of the house margarita—on the rocks and frozen. They were a little lime-forward for me, but my husband loved them.
For food, we ordered the dip duo with guac and street corn dip, the tuna tostadas, and the birria taquitos. Everything was delicious! Especially the birria. The portions were also very generous.
It was understandably busy for the holiday and our server had to keep tending to a needy table. Even then, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. The space is stylish and comfortable, perfect for a date night, or just as good for meeting up with friends. We’ll definitely be back soon!

LOVE!! If you haven’t been, go get you a coconut tajin marg and deviled eggs asap. Aleesa our server was so kind and made the best recommendations for us to order. The happy hour was perfect. I’m obsessed with this place!

I can’t wait for the weather to be warm enough for @crossroadscantinakc to open the roof and the doors of their indoor/outdoor patio! The space is gorgeous and when everything is open it is going to be hard to get a seat!!!
The deviled eggs are delicious. I know what you are thinking deviled eggs at a Mexican grill, why?! Because there is mesa in the egg mix, it is egg elote . Also was really happy with the guacamole. It tasted like avocado, which should be hard but it is in land locked Missouri.
Entrees I would get again would be the mole enchiladas and the burger. The mole had deep rich flavor and the meat was seasoned. The addition of the green chilies with white American cheese made the burger a little different. Also the patties were not completely smashed or fully pub style.
I would not get the Redfish again. It was over cooked and really didn’t have a lot of flavor. I was excited for fish from a wood fire grill, but this didn’t live up to the menu description. There was also just too much rice and not enough salsa macha. The salsa macha was good but got diluted by the rice and fish. The chicken fajitas were ok. They didn’t come out on super hot plate sizzling. Which is fine, but just what is expected. Also there was squash in the vegetable mix. Just not what I want with fajitas and it is not on the menu.

Amazing! Salsa was unique and full of flavor. The Queso had extra ingredients making it also unique. The Birria taco, the Chicken Tinga taco, and the Redfish tacos were all WOW! And then the finally, the House Margarita was the best I’ve had in the city yet. Thats right, I said it. I look forward to it’s summer patio. Hostess said it opened in Nov 2025.

Probably the best margarita I’ve had. It was coconut lime. I loved the crispy chips and salsa was amazing. Great service too! 100% going back.

We had the best service I’ve experienced in a long time! We were seated by the kindest waitress, who asked about allergies without being prompted, which I really appreciated. We had some of the best Mexican food in KC, and the margaritas were incredible and absolutely worth the price. I’ll absolutely be back again soon! also this makes for a perfect date night 😉

My partner and I had an excellent experience here on Friday! I definitely recommend getting a reservation- it was very busy. We were seated quickly, the service was fast, the food was great and THE DRINKS. I was very impressed with the Cactus Water (highly recommend)!

Such a great local spot—and Dianna is a big reason why. She was welcoming from the start, helped us navigate the New Mexican options, and kept everything running smoothly the whole meal. Fast, friendly, and genuinely thoughtful service. We’ll be back, and we’ll definitely ask for Dianna again.

The ambience was nice! I got the rotisserie chicken, which tasted strange and I couldn’t put my finger on what was in it that was throwing it off (unable to finish it). My husband got the redfish and it wasn’t all that special, just very basic. The coconut margarita was great! Didn’t really give the “traditional” Mexican feel/comfort though. Service wasn’t bad either.
