Outstanding experience every time we go. The food is top notch. Absolutely outstanding. Maybe the best in NC. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Some of my favorite are the fried green tomato appetizer. The tomato pie and mac and cheese sides. The chicken and waffles, stuffed flounder, meat loaf and bourbon chicken and shrimp are entrees out of this world. Absolutely delicious.

My second time here and really liked it. Our server was very sweet and helpful. I had stuffed flounder and it was nice, the roumalde sauce poured over it really set it off, wish I could have got a pinch more crab in the middle Mac & cheese was fantastic. Wife had beef tips which she enjoyed but were just slighly tough. Bathrooms were clean and had a couple of bars for drinking and socializing. Beer selections were decent. Overall I’d recommend and I will come back again to try a different entree.

Beautiful restaurant across the tracks from Main Street. I had the Asian burger, the wife had the chicken and waffles. My burger was spicy and cooked perfectly. The onion rings were a bit overdone for my taste but the wife enjoyed them. Her chicken was crispy and well seasoned and the waffles were sweet and not drowned in syrup which she prefers. She loved their Mac and cheese.
Full service bar with several beers on tap round out the meal. Menu had quit of few choices I’m eager to try, so we’ll be back for more.
Great choice for a meal or a night cap.

This is such an amazing restraunt and a very good experience all together. Our server Kristie was a very diligent in checking back with us and making sure everything was great. She was an amazing server who really cares for ger job and is a model server.This is definently a must to check out if you’re ever in town.

Caked ahead to make sure they were open. The girl answering the phone was rude but said they were. We drove there and went inside and tube hotel behind the counter (same bad attitude) quickly informed us they were at an hour and a half wait.

But there wasn’t a single person in line or waiting anywhere near the restaurant. Furthermore , why wouldn’t they be telling patrons that when they call. There’s really great restaurants around that.Don’t have an hour and a half weight I seriously doubt this place does.

We just discovered Cross ties and it’s our absolute favorite new restaurant. We drive an hour to get there. It’s so worth it! So far,Ive got the smothered chicken,fried okra, with cheese grits. It’s so good I can’t get anything else yet! Lol! Just over all a great experience. The food….excellent
