We heard about Cross Keys Diner from our Earth Science teacher (early 80’s!!) and we’re so excited to visit! We arrived around 10am and didn’t have any wait to be seated.
We ordered coffee & our breakfast. I had the Granny Scrambled eggs & toast. Was delicious and I was so full. Was a generous portion.
Waitress and staff were nice also!
We will be back!!

I work at a local hospital and we often go out for breakfast on weekends. I have always been disappointed, until now. This is literally the best breakfast in Doylestown. My omelette was fluffy and fresh. Customer service was warm and friendly. And everything was cooked perfectly. This will definitely be my go to breakfast spot, when in Doylestown.

Was visiting a local hiking spot and found this place off Google maps after comparing other popular spots. I chose this place based on the food pics, I like to think I have a good eye for this. Well, I was right! Their specials caught my eye, specifically an omelette with honey braised brussell sprouts, local yams, and havarti cheese… Very unorthodox ingredients for an omelette but I trusted the process and let me tell you it was probably in my top 3 omelettes of all time. Coffee was good too. I will be back!

Lunch eaten here about a half dozen times over the past several years. Dine in 12 noon to their closing time of 2pm.
There is usually a 15 minute wait to be seated but we’ll worth it as the food is always fresh and delicious. Try the Laverne Feeney wrap sandwich it is a favorite! Also Jims Great idea chicken salad wrap and the Rueben. Recommend their toasted chocolate chip muffins.

The servers are very attentive and friendly. Worth the wait as the food here is diamond in the rough great!

We gave this place a break for a while because the food quality was lacking the last several times we were there. Tried to give it a go again this morning and was immediately turned off thanks to the waitress. My toddler was simply holding a menu, not warping it, bending it, or destroying it in anyway. We were reviewing letters and numbers on it with him and he likes to pretend to read while we read our menu. The waitress took it right out of his hands. We tried to give him one of our since he was getting upset and she took it out of my husbands hands as he tried to give it to our toddler and says that’s how the menus get “wrecked”. That is extremely unprofessional, and just a mean thing to do to a toddler who is simple holding a menu. Luckily we came prepared with a toy, but wow, not a right way to start off. The only saving grace was the younger girls going around picking up plates, and topping off coffee. The one brought a chair over for my toddler when she overheard him say that he wanted a “big boy” chair. We thanked her and appreciated her help with trying to turn our experience around. I think we will be taking another break from this place for a while.

Food was pretty good.
Highly recommend the pancakes or cream chipped beef over toast.
Service was good, but it gets busy and therefore a little slower.
Atmosphere is cozy and nice!!

Came up for Peddlers Village and didn’t know where to grab breakfast. This was the best possible option. Monday morning packed good. Sat at the bar, and once we ordered food, it was to us in 8 or 9 minutes and delicious. Best breakfast sausage I’ve had in a long time, perfectly cook lightly sweet just everything you want. Perfect portion size and the potatoes were bomb. Will be visiting again! 10 out of 10

Crazy Good Breakfast! Get something off the specials list if you really want to experience their best effort. Best omelets I have ever had, and I eat at a lot of breakfast joints.

It’s as good as the other reviews say it is. Maybe even better. Absolutely delicious and creamy hollandaise sauce. Perfectly poached eggs. And just right toasted English muffin. And the home fries are pretty good, too. Attentive and friendly service, quaint atmosphere, and delicious food. #MealEstate #lEtsreAlesTate with Scott Geller, The Home Seller Everything you want in a diner!
