Delicious food and incredible service. We stopped by Crosby’s Drive-In on our way to Bar Harbor, and the place did not disappoint!
The menu was extensive — seafood, burgers, ice cream, and much more — and the prices were unbeatable. We got two double cheeseburgers and fries for $23. You just can’t beat that! They were fresh and delicious.
Note that they don’t have indoor seating. This is a place where you drive up and order, but that’s part of the charm. We loved the outdoor seating, too — plenty of picnic tables in shaded and sunny areas. Also… the bathrooms were spotless.
We will definitely stop by again during our next drive to Bar Harbor.

Fast, fresh, tasty. Staff is always friendly and helpful. There’s always laughter in the back and customers are almost always friendly in the lines outside. We love the fried scallops and feel that the portion is good for the price. There are less expensive places, but we love Crosby’s service and food above most others

Visiting Maine from Tx and this food was delicious. So much that we devoured the lobster roll before thinking to take a picture. Curly fries and the fried mushrooms were a 10/10! Philly Cheesesteak and onion rings – 10/10 I recommend you come try them out!!

We stopped on our way from Bar Harbor to Rockland and I got my first lobster roll. I gotta say, it’s not for me, because I couldn’t get over seeing the meat in the shape of the claws, lol. But it didn’t taste bad. The fries were delicious! My husband tried the fried clams and he liked them. The kids got chicken tenders, and hot dogs and a pb&j. The hot dogs were pinkish-red and freaked them out a bit, but they ate them. The kids meals come with a drink and ice cream. People working were very nice and the food took maybe 10 minutes to prepare. Not bad. It was expensive though, but seems everything in Maine is. They have lots of outdoor seating, lots of it covered for shade, ample parking, a playground for kids and restrooms.

I hadn’t planned where to eat when I went for a drive so I was delighted to come across such a cool looking roadside spot. A quick internet search from within my car in the parking lot made it seem like I’d found the perfect place for a late lunch. The food was delicious and well priced for the quality and quantity of food. The restroom was sparkling clean, which was a surprise since it’s accessed from outside. I’ll definitely visit Crosby’s again!

Great old-school drive-up place. Excellent fried scallops and whole-belly clams and coleslaw. Food was ready in a short time and piping hot. We enjoyed sitting at one of the picnic tables outside on a beautiful summer evening.

Wonderful stop along the road! Plenty of different options for sitting to enjoy our delicious food. The haddock was amazing and the lobster roll was very large and yummy. It may be a bit hard to find but definitely worth it

I ordered a veggie grinder. It was the bottom of a sub roll with finely chopped up onions and green peppers; a few very thinly sliced pieces of tomato, black olives, with cheese on the top but no top piece of bread. It was rolled in aluminum foil. There was no way to eat it without everything falling out. Without the top piece of bread there wasn’t anyway to hold it together. Thankfully my husband had a fork! It certainly wasn’t worth the 15 bucks I paid for it. I may be wrong but I thought a grinder had enough bread to hold in most of the food.
