This is a great little place to stay. Its not for everyone cause its a little rough around the edges but I love it. Nice trailers to rent and cabins also. Keeps the drive to the lake short so you can fish more. The bar is great and the locals are super friendly. Nice little store to get food or fishing gear. I have stayed here 2 years in a row on opening weekend for the lake and love it.

GREAT PLACE! to stay if a place is available! Rooms are wonderful with several beds and a kithchen, at least in my room. Planning to tent camp, they had a room available, with some rearrangements, yet I got no hassle from the very friendly staff, even the day before Thanksgiving! I stayed for 3 nights, and it was wondererful!!!! Definitely beats tent camping in early winter! Oh yeah, the fishing is worthwhile.

Bartender has an attitude problem. He acts like he is doing you some great favor when he writes up a fishing license for you that you are paying $30 for. Get over yourself man. Every product is grossly over priced. The women in the store were nice and helpful.

Its always going to be pricey if you pick up supplies in their store. They serve prepared food from a kitchen inside. Part of the road is washed out in front of the store but its still fairly accessible… This is where you can get camping permits as well as day passes.

Great place to visit people were nice friendly always whether I’m getting a bite to eat or having a drink it’s a place you can’t find anywhere else so I suggested to everyone come out to the lake.!!!!!

It’s nice up here the people are very helpful its peaceful I forgot to get gas the day before Turkey day and I drove to the gas pumps not paying attention I didn’t know they were closed for public service I didn’t know until fred said it was closed I was invited to share
Dinner with my sister and her family u know what fred did for me he opened the gas pumps and I got my gas see u never know.

I’ve had a good experience at Crosby’s their workers are friendly and the rooms are reasonable they have good fried food if you want that in hamburgers chicken wings and much more bride and a good fryer the bar is a wonderful atmosphere you overlook the lake there’s windows the store is full of everybody’s needs if you forget anything out here when you come camping or fishing anyting you might not think they have I just happened to live out here part-time eventually will be living here full-time or how long I do not know but I’ll tell you Judy and Fred are very fair people the owners in my eyes when you live in a small town if you know what I mean thank you for asking Michelle Muscat
