We visited the Crooked Pint Ale House for dinner on a Saturday around 7:30pm and it was excellent and here is why. They didn’t have a hamburger with no cheese on the menu. I asked our server and she said “sure they’ll make it for you”. My husband order chicken strips and he said that they were great, just like a certain “steak road house” serves. We also had onion rings and cocktails. If I picked one thing to recommend it would be the onion rings. They are the real McCoy BATTERED, not the frozen breaded kind. If you want to enjoy a cocktail this is your place! The bartenders really know what they’re doing. The atmosphere is rustic and there is music playing in the background. It is easy to have a conversation without having to yell. I would recommend the Crooked Pint Ale House for an excellent casual dinning experience.
They have pull tabs and popcorn to snack on while you are waiting. There is also BINGO on Thursday nights.

My wife & I ate at Savage’s Crooked Pint on Feb 28, 2026. She had the “Bourbon Cranberry Chicken Salad” and I had the “Cheesesteak Juicy Lucy” with waffle fries. She drank Barq ‘s Root Beer & I drank Montgomery brewery’s Hazy IPA. The burger had a generous fill of stuffed cheese sauce, so cut a slit to let some of it out….otherwise you might squirt your partner. Great experience, but get extra napkins on the Lucy burgers. It’s mostly a sports bar, so I can’t properly judge that kind of atmosphere on a slow sports day.

One Lucy and two Burgers of the Month (French Onion). All had salads. I like that they use shredded lettuce instead of giant leaves. With the Groupon it was a fantastic deal for three people.

My friend and I visited Crooked Pint this past Friday and were pretty pleased with our dinner. The wait was about 20 min, which was typical for an early Friday night, but our food wait was a little more than we hoped for. We had the Gigantic Pretzel as an app, Prime Rib French Dip sandwich & French Dip Lucy (burger) as our mains. The French Dip sandwich was great & had flavor, but the French Dip Lucy was a weird dish. My friend ordered it medium rare, which it was cooked correctly, but the cheese inside the burger (to make it a Lucy burger) was an overwhelming amount and took away from the rest of the dish. Nonetheless, the rest of the experience went well. Just wouldn’t order a Lucy Burger here again.

Our server lacked service. The food for the most part was tasty, so don’t let that deteriorate you from trying this place. The juicy Lucy hamburger I had no cheese ooze out and it was pretty tough so much so, I couldn’t eat it. Looked delicious. All other items no complaints.

My experience was not pleasant. It was about 430 pm on a Monday, so pretty quiet, but that didn’t stop my server from shuffling away constantly while we were trying to order. The real problem is the food. The juicy Lucy I had was just gross. The burger was flavorless and cold. The waffle fries were also cold and they were hard as if they had been sitting a long time. Truly a horrible experience.

Nice atmosphere and fun surprises, but the food quality for the price is very poor. At $17, all three tacos I received had less fish than a single Taco John’s $4 taco; not worth the price.

Great burger as well as a decked-out (caprese style) grilled cheese!! Service was wonderful. Only reason for not giving 5 stars on food is that the onion rings were only warm, not hot, by the time they were served to us. Still tasted great but again were no longer hot. They were very busy, though, so we understand how this can happen and therefore will definitely come here again!!

Went on a Friday night, seated immediately, not busy. Ordered Taco Salad and Salmon bowl. We were assured that the fish was fresh and wouldn’t taste fishy, parts of it did. Expected pricing, waitress was nice. It was ok, food was average. Might go back again.
