I’ve been coming here for years. Haven’t been here in awhile, just once since new owners. Once for breakfast, which was good.

I chose the special today. The soup was yummy. It was beef barley. The corn beef sandwich was chewy and I wasted alot of the meat. Was kind of hoping it came old way stacked high and with saurkraut.

I will come back and try some other dishes and update. This establishment has been an important part of the town. Not my best sandwich, however, the customers i see seem very satisfied with dishes.
I came in today to order their lunch special. Navy bean soup was delicious. Toasted western was loaded and very good. I enjoyed it very much and great value.

We went in for lunch the place was a bit busy but you were looked after and service was great. We both ordered the soup and sandwich special with some fries and gravy to share. Our server Marisa asked if we wanted to start with the soup we said yes. They had tomato macaroni vegetable soup. You could tell that this was home made right away, the soup broth was full of flavor and had a touch of herbs, chunks of tomatoes and veggies all through it, just packed with goodness and the macaroni wasn’t mushy like it was an old soup or sitting over cooking. The sandwich they had was a grilled ham and cheese, now I know nothing special but it was good, it was beautifully toasted and not greacy, a thick slice of ham that was also grilled a bit, there was also cheese on both pieces of the bread. The fries were fresh cut and lots of them and the gravy wasn’t a random package, they make the gravy from scratch using the juices from the meats they roast in house, it was delicious. My hubby said the coffee wasn’t the best but over all we enjoyed our lunch had great service.

Friendly, upbeat place, cafeteria style, with good food at reasonable prices. The service is really good. The barley soup was a tad cold today, their coleslaw is good. Their omelets are huge.
I truly like the fact that you can order small portions rather than have to either take home or discard half of what was served. Big kudos for that. They also have a kids menu section and one for seniors on their lunch menu.

This place has good food amd awesome service. It’s clean and the employees are very nice. It’s good to take the family or just go after a get together. I’d recommend this place to my friends and family. The bathrooms were clean. It smells good when you walk in. Lots of seating and kid friendly. It’s a spot to go to forsure. So go to Cromwell grill. They have one of the best breakfasts there. Check this place out. You will enjoy it.

Best breakfast in town! Awesome staff! Get the shredded hash-browns and thank me later!
They filled my coffee 5 times. For those of us who keep track, that’s pretty awesome

Very disappointed with the Cromwell grill today. It was dirty and the service was not great at all. We actually left because it was such poor service, a disappointing experience. . I feel like CG use to be better. Anyway, we went to Sophie’s and it was great service, very clean.

This restaurant got pretty busy around 5:30-6. It was a great atmosphere where everyone knew everyone and the food portions were HUGE! Definitely will be back!

Update: My boyfriend and I came for lunch last week and someone put $20 towards our bill, thank you to whoever did that!! The food was awesome and the portions are still huge, but I’m happy I got to bring some food home for later!

Food was absolutely delicious, but the wait at brunch was LONG. Come hungry but prepare to be patient at peak brunch hour on the weekend. Staff was very attentive with lots of coffee refills while we waited for our meals. The dish pictured is the Mixed Grill.

We will definitely not Return. We went for breakfast and waited over an hour for toast and eggs, and then was very disappointed in the quality of the food. The waitress was very apologetic so I felt bad for her, but we will not give a second chance unfortunately.

Came in with my mom, not a busy day at all. Was told to seat ourselves. Sat for almost half an hour, no one came and gave us menus, or took a drink order. Twice, my mother said excuse me to a waitress, and she was ignored both times. Ended up leaving without ever talking to a waitress. Won’t be returning.
