Great food, fast service and very decent prices. Highly recommend stopping in! It’s very modern and cozy they’ve done a lot of remodeling inside!

Had dinner and breakfast here in the off season. I went with the steak, which was fine, veggies were mush but the potato wedges were good. Wife had the beef and broccoli, that was great. Avocado toast had frozen avocado slices, less than ideal. Service at breakfast was great, dinner not so much. A couple that came in after us was eating before we got our order in. Menu looked impressive but they might be trying too hard. Maybe have a smaller menu in the off season?

Menu was very promising, service was good. Portions were abysmal for the prices. The burger was the best item at the table, but a $17 burger AND a $2 upcharge for tater tots, there was sure a lot of empty space on that tray.

The $17 walleye basket had two small nuggets of fish. We wished the random slice of bland toast was a third, proper piece of fish, or perhaps a few more fries to fill out the meal. The coleslaw was the worst offender—it was so old and rank, it literally fizzed in the mouth.

These days money is tight for everyone. Many people, like us, are empathetic to the current realities faced by food establishments. We want to support our local spots, we are getting priced out. It is important to lean into your cheaper menu items (potato sides) and your regional favorites (walleye) so folks aren’t walking away bummed out and hungry.

We were in town to ride the trails at Cuyuna and stopped in at the Croft.
We ordered the giant pretzel and were not disappointed. It was huge and very yummy. It came with three sauces: garlic butter, mustard, and cheese. Our favorite was the mustard.

We ordered two burgers and split them. The Big cheese is not kidding with the amount of cheese it has on it and while it tasted great, it was a bit rich for me and I was not able to finish it.

The service was great. Everyone was super friendly and kept us well hydrated with our refills.

There is seating outside as well as inside and while it is a small place, they did space out the seating and it was comfortable.

LOVE The Croft in Crosby, MN !! Martha, the stellar, friendly, knowledgeable , joy-filled server made our dinner exceptional! The food is delicious and well thought out and cooked to perfection! The owner’s eye for detail in every corner of the Restaraunt , is noticed and appreciated! Nostalgic and hand crafted! A GEM in every way! Rumor has it that the Restaraunt may be up for sale , so I challenge anyone with a slight bit of interest to research this and find the next incredible adventure for this amazing location and keep the top notch Restaraunt not only going , but add to it with your own creative ideas! Crosby , MN is a perfect location for adventure, excellent food, close to all the conveniences , but far enough away you can refresh and recharge!

Great service! Flatbreads and soup were flavorful and reasonably priced. We will be back next time we are in the area.

I don’t like to give bad reviews, especially when two of the menu items were delicious the Tuscan chicken and the lobster grilled cheese sandwich or very tasty. But the Thai chicken flatbread had a lot of cabbage, and not much chicken at all. Just a heads up, this flatbread was very spicy. We would not recommend the Thai chicken tacos at all! They had more cabbage and sauce than chicken and they were served cold. When we asked the waitress about it, she said the coleslaw on the top made them cold and didn’t offer to replace or do something for us not liking that item.

Spent our honeymoon weekend exploring Ironton/Crosby area. Stopped in for some food and beer. It is, without a doubt, for a small town, the best food on earth!

I ordered the BBQ brisket salad, each bite was heaven. My husband ordered the cryin Hawaiian. Seeing his eyes roll back told me it was the bomb.com!

Would 100% recommend going to Croft Kitchen to eat. They’ve got a little bit of everything. Will remember the next time we’re in this neck of the woods.

Our server was friendly, nice variety on the menu, food was delicious, both indoor and outdoor seating, & restaurant was clean. During the middle of our meal, the owner/manager came around and asked how everything was. They seem to really care about their customers.

The lady and I decided to go to Crosby instead of Brainerd. Worth it. I got a New York strip and she got chili with fancy fries. Had armadillo eggs for an appetizer. Really good. Everything was really good. Beer too! Plus the Patron wasn’t bad either.
