I worked here as a kid, Ive eaten here for what – 15 years or so? Love the fries. Cheese steaks ae the best, California chicken cheese steaks are usually amazing.
About 3 weeks ago I ordered 2x Chicken Cheese Steaks, one for dinner one for dinner the next day. I just love the way a good roll, mayonnaise, chicken..lettuce…they all come together so nicely.
I get my food, its a regular chicken cheese steak which isn’t my preferred sandwich, and definitely not what I intended to eat for two evenings.
No worries, I love the place, stuff happens.
A day or two go by, I try to make my own. It sucks, and I really want another Cristinas Cali chicken steak. So I captiulated.
I ordered at 730, pickup at 8, they closed at 830 so I felt it was reasonable. I got my food, paid and all was well until 20 minutes later I sat down to eat after explaining my previous situation and specified that I want a California chicken cheese steak. I got it, but it was the absolute saltiest thing Ive ever been served by a restaurant. I took 3 bites, the second was just to verify – the third was hungry and desperate to be wrong.
I was really upset at this point, but being before 830 (closing) I had called. Wasn’t surprised that we had no answer, but was surprised that we didn’t get a response to our voicemail after over a week. I ate Sheetz that night, it sucked.
Ive been craving this sandwich now for weeks, and tried to contact the restaurant but I havent received a response. I left a vpicemail on the same number I placed the order on, I really like the food but this consistent disappointment and lack of communication recently is concerning and I dont want to keep wasting money and time.
Pictured is the sandwich I refused to eat for being too salty, I thought I was going to bring it back the next business day not that they would try it, but to show that it was inedible.
I guess they could try to make it right but Im really disappointed in the pattern and lack of response..

Expecting five star Italian food? You won’t find it here. However, if you are looking for simple diner type food at an excellent price this is your spot. Staff is very friendly and food is fresh.

Last time I ordered, it was a California Cheese steak with no onions. It came with onions! Tonight I ordered the same and it’s a regular cheese steak, not a California cheese steak….wth.

Ordered from slice for delivery. I asked for extra cheese on my broccoli pizza but it came with very minimal cheese for a pizza. The onion rings in the sampler were burnt I couldn’t eat some of them. Spending $50 you have to do better. Going to Bella’s in Oley from now on.

The personal pizza was great and so was the fries, but the onion rings tasted as if the onion flavor was from a powder in the flour and the onion its self was like a plastic ring.

Local business. Walked in, knew exactly what I was in for. Quality food, friendly locals and staff. Loved it. Had the caesar chicken wrap. The mozzarella sticks were above average.

Great menu with above average food! Menu isn’t too overwhelming, allowing them to focus on the Italian dishes that are on the menu. Good choice of appetizers and pizza. We had slices of pizza, mozzarella sticks, pierogies, and a stromboli. All excellent! It has a full menu and a salad bar! Nice and clean inside. Good service. Kitchen staff are great!
