My husband and I came here for lunch yesterday and had a lovely time. The staff are so polite and the restaurant is super clean. We ordered two masala dosa, two cokes and a samosa chaat.
The masala dosas were delicious – the crepe/shell was so crispy and the potatoes inside were flavourful and piping hot. Really enjoyed this. The chutneys were also really nice.
My only gripe is that the samosa chaat isn’t a proper samosa chaat by a long way. What was served was just three samosas on a plate with a drizzle of chutney and a few red onions. I was confused – where was the Chana masala layer? The pomegranate? The yoghurt? The coriander? We get this dish a lot at every Indian restaurant we go to so this was incredibly confusing. So much so that I asked the waitress if we’d been given the right dish (see photo). She said this was the right samosa chaat and confirmed that it comes like this and with no chickpeas. While the samosas tasted nice, this was a huge disappointment as it wasn’t what we expected. Maybe the name of the item needs updating on the menu to “samosa with chutney” to be more accurate?
Nevertheless, we’ll be back soon!

The service was impeccable! I have an assistant dog, the lady was very accommodating and took us to a suitable table. Food was so nice and the carrot halwa and pistachio ice cream to die for. Definitely coming back again.

We visited Crispy Dosa, Windsor for the morning breakfast buffet as a group of 4 adults and 2 kids, and had a good experience overall. The buffet had a decent variety, including dosa, uttapam, poori, and other South Indian breakfast items.
The pricing is reasonable for Windsor standards – £9.99 per adult and £7.99 for children (5–11 years). The taste was really good. The pongal was also nice, though it was a bit heavy on ghee, so you can’t eat more than a couple of scoops.
One small issue was the table size. Tables were quite small, and with two large plates placed on it (one per person), space became very tight and the plates were slightly slippery. Unfortunately, one plate got dropped because of this. However, Nithin (Manager) and the staff were very helpful and cleaned it up quickly, which we really appreciated.
They offer discounted parking for lunch and dinner, which is helpful. For breakfast, we had to find nearby parking, which was slightly expensive, but that’s expected in Windsor.
Overall, a good value, family-friendly South Indian breakfast buffet with tasty food and supportive staff.

First time here and all I can say it was excellent. Staff were friendly from the offset. Food was cooked to order and I wasn’t disappointed. Hot and so tasty. Great portion size. All vegetarian which just adds more flavour. A cheeky mocktail to go along with it. Will definitely be back

Had the masala dosa and chaat behl (pictured below) and it was absolutely delicious! The mouthwatering chutneys were so fresh and brightly seasoned! Great value for our afternoon snack. I will definitely return on my next trip to Windsor.

The food here is fantastic, especially the crispy dosa, which we used to have weekly. But the staff is what makes this place shine. They’re always friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. Fast service with a smile every time. If you want great food and amazing service, this place is a must-try!

The food — absolutely outstanding. Crispy Dosa doesn’t just serve food; it delivers an experience that celebrates the heart of Indian cuisine. It’s easily one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to in the UK. Highly recommend for anyone who loves bold flavors, warm hospitality, and a bit of Indian magic.

Been to a few Crispy Dosa branches and I must say the Windsor branch has the best decor out of the lot. Of course not surprised considering it’s the Royal Borough, right in high street too. I believe there is parking from NCP close by in the adjoining streets. The dosa was as expected from Crispy Dosa branches, however the price was quite high, maybe they are factoring in the Windsor location I guess. If you are on a day out in Windsor and craving South Indian food then it’s a good visit.

This is my 5th visit to this place. Very authentic food, be it any cuisine you order such as South Indian or Indian Chinese.
A must try if you are around this restaurant and are craving for Indian food.
