Absolutely fantastic! We asked what their best or most popular dishes are and ordered them and everything was delicious, well made with flavors unique to us. The Chicharron Pollo (fried chicken) was particularly amazing, the Pernil pork and yellow rice had great spiced flavors, and we loved the Firebird and Guava empanadas. This is food we’ve never had elsewhere like this.
The server was super friendly as well and the location is nicely situated on main street. Would definitely stop by when we’re in town again.

We’ve been here a couple times now and they’re food is delicious. The food is cooked well and very tasty. They have a good variety of food & drinks. They are reasonably priced and give generous portions. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is chill. I definitely recommend.

Crisol is so good it honestly deserves more hype! The Rasta Pasta is unreal… super creamy, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. It’s one of those dishes you start thinking about again the next day.
And the chicken cutlet? Wow. Crispy, juicy, seasoned just right — literally comfort food done right. The portions are great, the vibe is chill, and everyone there is so friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely a must-try spot! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere inside had such a great vibe. The food was a solid 10/10 — perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. I’m already looking forward to coming back to try more from the menu!

Had a delicious dinner Thursday night here with some friends! The Rasta Pasta was everything you wanted it to be – perfectly cooked chicken and shrimp. They will ask about your spice level be honest with yourself and you’ll be happy. Green beans were also a delicious and unexpected bite! Will definitely be going back.

We recently ordered takeout from Crisol: Pernil, rice and beans, mac and cheese, and beef empanadas.
Everything we had was top notch excellent, and we’ll be going back to try their other dishes. For what you got, the prices were also very reasonable, and the food was made up within about 5 minutes of when they said it would be ready. Overall, a great experience.
My only real complaint (not even worth docking a star for) is that the prices on their online PDF menu were outdated at the time we ordered. The beef items in particular had gone up noticeably in price. This was reflected on the in-restaurant menu boards, but not their website. Of course, prices have been all over the place on the supplier side recently and this is an easy thing to miss, and I don’t know if maybe I just got unlucky and it was changed shortly after… but they should try to keep up with this.
Also be mindful of their hours, they’re pretty limited, but that’s worth working around for the quality of food you get here. Not a complaint, but something to keep in mind. You have to plan around getting this food.

The food was awesome, definitely want to come back while I’m still in town. Ribs were delicious, Mac and cheese was creamy, and super cheesy, and the plantains were a refreshing sweet touch to a very savory meal. The owner was very welcoming, friendly, and walked me through the menu. Cozy little spot, very clean and well maintained. A must-stop if you’re visiting Cortland and want a delicious meal.

Absolutely terrific. Got the “family” portion of catfish and it was fantastic, perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Beans and rice, sweet plantains, collard greens, all super. Regular sized oxtail, good portions, falling off the bone. Super friendly and quick service. A real winner.

My new husband and I had Crisol cater our wedding this past weekend because we absolutely love their pernil which is pork my daughter loves their roasted chicken and my husband love the catfish and oxtail. Their Mac and Cheese and ROSTA pasta is magnificent best I’ve ever had from any restaurant. The cook puts so much love into his food and takes alot of pride in what he does. I couldn’t have asked for a better Caterer. They’ve made our dreams come true for our special day. I tell everyone all the time to go try them out cause they are amazing. 5 stars pluse you guys keep it going!
