Fried chicken doesn’t get better than THIS!
We came across this place on our way to do some shopping and it is so amazing that I have to write about it.
What makes it special? It’s FRESH chicken FRIED TO ORDER! You actually get to see the cook taking the chicken out of marinade, dredged, and fried in an open kitchen for you to see.
The end result? It’s piping hot chicken that never sees a food warmer, and juices will ooze out after the first bite and drip down your hand. It’s just good chicken done right.
Their signature crimson sauce is also very moist and addicting, kinda like raising cane’s. However the quality of the chicken is night and day.
I also recommend trying the crimson onion – joey style. It’s packed with slaw, pickles, and chopped chicken tenders. It’s soooo good

Absolutely amazing experience at Crimson Coward! The Nashville-style hot chicken is perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, and incredibly juicy inside. The spice levels are well-balanced and customizable — flavorful, not just heat for the sake of heat.
Portions are generous, food is fresh, and the quality really stands out. The sides complement the chicken perfectly, and everything tastes made with care. Service was friendly and efficient, making the overall experience even better.

During our time here, we decided to get some Nashville Hot Chicken, and when we came here, it was awesome! We got to try out their delicious food, and the staff members were so friendly! Such a shame about the parking since we had to eat in the car, but with that aside, the food was awesome! Definitely recommend.

The food is great, the staff was friendly, but it didn’t wow me. It’s fried chicken with pickles and bread. It taste great, but didn’t really feel like it differentiated itself from other competitors in the area for me to go out of my way to go their in the future. It’s on Michigan Ave so the prices are pretty high, but if you need a bite to eat, I would mention it’s there with those caveats.

We ordered food during our Labor day weekend visit to Chicago. I ordered a smashed burger. And it was soo delicious. Juicy, steaming hot and just perfect. We also ordered some chicken sliders etc. They were good too. All was packed into a paper bag and we enjoyed our food in Millenium park. The store looked clean and the personnel was friendly. I liked that it was halal, located in the loop so was very convenient for us too. Will definitely come again

I was impressed by this restaurant. I was in town visiting from MN and we have a ton of Nashville chicken restaurants like most places now I am sure. What set this franchise apart is they have other options besides chicken, as well as different sides and desserts then the typical fries or Mac and cheese. The restaurant was clean and the 2 men working were very friendly to me. The place was average priced which was a relief to see, since a lot of these chicken places run you upwards of $16 for just the sandwich. I thought the waffle I ordered was good, but 1 syrup for all those waffle pieces was ridiculous. It wasn’t super flavorful, but good nonetheless. The deep fried pickles were good and again a nice addition to the sides you normally see at establishments like these. Overall when I go visit my hometown again I would definitely go to one of these again.

I had the pleasure of trying this upcoming restaurant during one of their training days, and I have to say—it completely blew me away. I tried their chicken burger, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. It instantly reminded me of one of the top chicken spots I visited in Qatar, which says a lot.

I got the medium heat level crimson chicken sandwich and it was 10/10. Flavourful, juicy, and good spice. Food is Zabiha Halal as well and they have certification as well to prove it.
