It was an amazing experience today. I ordered my first drink from the bar. After being seated my waitress came and noticed that my drink was low and asked, “ would you like another strawberry lemonade?” I thought that was absolutely amazing that she already knew the drink I had considering that I did not order the first drink with her. (The drink was very good!) Throughout my entire experience, she was very attentive, she was able to remember the order without writing anything down (and I “modified” a menu item) and she got everything correct. Then, the food came out, and the food was presented very well and it actually tasted amazing! But I have to acknowledge Emily! She was absolutely amazing and knew her stuff! Thank you Emily for your awesome service! Thank you Cribb’s for hiring her and thank you for providing an establishing an environment that provides great food with a great atmosphere.

This place was really really really good! My wife and I went on a Valentine’s Day date here. They have a pretty good variety, But most importantly the things that they had, at least the things that we had, were really tasty. We had Japanese milk bread as an appetizer which was cheesy and garlicky and delicious. And then I had some kind of crazy barbecue , fried onion burger which of course that out of this fried egg on to. And my wife had a buffalo chicken wrap. But she didn’t like initially, but it wasn’t Cribb’s fault, she just didn’t read that it was supposed to come out the way it came out and she isn’t a fan of lettuce and cold food. But again that was her misreading the menu. However, I asked them if they wouldn’t mind to fix it for her and they did with a smile on their face. It was really nice of them to go out of their way to accommodate us like that. And then after that we got a Dubai chocolate cake, and it was fantastic! I highly recommend coming here. I will say however if you’re wanting shrimp and grits or salmon or ribeye, you need to come after 5:00. I only regrets is not good to try the shrimp and grits! But if I’m ever back that way you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be back! 10/10 definitely recommend!

Went here for dinner on a rainy day. There were only 3 tables being used when we walked in at 6pm on a Sunday.

The good:
Immediately seated
Waiter was awesome. He answered all questions, made good suggestions, and was very attentive the whole meal.
Food was great! All of us really enjoyed our meals.
Dessert was great but they only had one slice left of what we wanted. We each got a bite.

The bad:
It was freezing in there until we left. We all kept our wet jackets on to stay warm. At the end it warmed up a bit.
The service was SLOW!! With only 4 tables total and only two that needed to be served the food took nearly 45 minutes to come out. It was hot and delicious but we all got sandwiches and fries! Even dessert took 15 minutes and it was for the last slice they had.

Excellent food and staff. Very subpar speed of service and general comfort.

Fun Sunday brunch at Spartanburg local favourite. Arrived early before the Sunday church crowd. When we left, people were waiting in line out the door. The food was very tasty and hot. Give a wide variety and large portions. Thank you, Teneya, for such great service. You’re a pro. Thank uou Cribbs for honouring Veterans.
A must location for Sunday mornings brunch and dates.

I had the opportunity to visit Cribbs Kitchen today with some friends, and we had a pleasant experience. It was surprisingly not busy on this 4th of July as we were seated at a corner table upon walking in.
We started off with some deviled eggs that were near perfection. For my entree I chose the Hot Honey fried chicken sandwich with parmesan fries. I enjoyed both but, I would like to offer some constructive criticism.
I could have used some more hot honey on the sandwich, and I didn’t taste any Tabasco sauce on it. The chicken needed some salt and pepper in the batter. Overall, it was still a good sandwich.
The fries were slightly overcooked and could also use some salt or garlic truffle oil. Oh, the dessert special of Carolina pie was a delicious blend of chocolate brownie, cheesecake, and strawberries, and was to die for. The burgers and wraps that my friends had all looked really good, and they praised there deliciousness. I look forward to my next visit, and you should plan a visit for yourself.

Awesome was about to go to Longhorn steakhouse but no one would answer the phone and when we finally got there, it was an hour and 45 minute wait so our niece who’s going to missionary school decided to go to Cribb’s, which was an awesome idea the service was great called ahead and had a table for 12 ready for us right when we hit the door Heather our server was awesome. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The food was terrific and the service was awesome. Also thanks cribbs for a wonderful experience.

We stopped in for lunch while out of town for a wedding. We wanted to try something different than the normal chain restaurants. They fries, we’re great, both sweet potato and the parmesan original fries. However, the rat was not one of my favorites. The waitress was attentive and checked on us often. I’m very pleased with the services. We’ll definitely visit again whenever I’m back in the area.

We love coming to Cribb’s Kitchen. The service is terrific and they do everything possible to get you a table. Normal food like hamburgers are customized and delicious. They truly make their own creation and it can not be duplicated. It’s such a special way to prepare food. It’s in a great location and atmosphere is lively.

Service was good, no wait. They did have my favorite beer, but that’s about it. $40 for a Waffle House ribeye is way overpriced in my opinion. Probably wouldn’t return.

I don’t know what my family and I did to receive the bad service we did, but it was terrible tonight.

Response to owner:

Your response to my review makes it clear that you relied solely on surveillance footage rather than understanding the actual issues we experienced. That lack of insight is exactly the problem.

At no point did I complain about wait times for seating or food. If a restaurant provides good service and a quality product, waiting for a table is not an issue. I am unclear why you focused on this, as it was never part of my complaint.

You also stated that our food was “without mistake,” which is simply untrue. The fries were cold and had to be sent back. While mistakes happen and we moved past it without issue, misrepresenting what occurred is unacceptable—especially when you referenced video footage that clearly shows this.

Your characterization of our server is equally inaccurate. She was not “constantly checking in” on us. She was focused on closing duties rather than the needs of our table. My drink sat empty for an extended period while she repeatedly passed by despite my attempts to get her attention. I ultimately had to get up and politely ask another staff member for a refill. There was no shaking of a cup, no rude behavior, and no request for a Diet Coke, despite what your response claims.

The interaction that ultimately led to my review was with management—not over sweet tea, not over side work, but over the dismissive, condescending, and unprofessional way the situation was handled. Asking to speak privately with a manager, calmly and respectfully, should never be perceived as threatening or “odd.” It is standard practice in any well-run restaurant.

Rather than listening, asking questions, or showing concern for either the guest or the overwhelmed server, the response I received reflected poor training, defensiveness, and a troubling lack of basic customer service skills.

This experience revealed what appears to be a systemic issue, not an isolated one. I regret expecting more than fast-food–level service, and I will adjust my expectations accordingly in the future.
