We have been coming here for several years now. The food tastes a bit different than before, but it’s still very good. We ordered several items. The Mongolian beef had a little too many onions in there. The Kung Pao chicken was average. Otherwise the other items we had were the chicken lo mein, fried rice, and orange chicken. My kids enjoyed the orange chicken. It was not too spicy and even my little one was able to eat it. On a side note I think they opened up a small pop-up pani puri station on the side. Will definitely be back here in the future.

I’m Blown away by the service I received today!!! I met Nizam and he was so courteous that he is now my brother!!! I am ashamed that I never knew about this restaurant. The quality of meat is Excellent. Halal, Angus Beef is flown in from around the world! I almost got sick because I loved the food so much that I couldn’t stop eating. Nizam is the John Wick, the Michael Jordan, The Mike Tyson, the Tiger Woods of Asian Authentic Chinese Food! Please tell Nizam that Yancey Quintanilla sent you!! I can’t wait to come back! Omg this is my 3rd time in 2 weeks and I finally tried something different, egg fried rice.
I don’t understand why it tastes so good. It’s just rice but when it comes from here, it’s Gourmet!!! I Can’t wait to come back. I want to eat Sweet and Sour chicken!!!!

My brother and I eat at a lot of places during lunch since we work construction.
This place was NOT good. The food was horrible. Had the beef broccoli and kung pao. They both were basically the same thing. The sauce they used tasted like it came out of a can. Sorry, but the vibe was not Chinese or Asian. Much room for improvement and if you want a glass of ice water get ready to pay for bottled water.
Took the rest home for the dog. I”ll let you know if he eats it!

Came to eat here after quite some time and was surprised by how amazing the food was. The food was even better than before. So fresh and delicious, even after so many new halal Chinese restaurants opening in DFW, this place is still the best for me. The service was also excellent and all around fantastic experience! The best dishes are the Crispy Black Pepper Beef, Orange Chicken, and Walnut Shrimp. No one makes it like them!

The Dine-in area is large and has many seats. There are also two private rooms for a large group.

Most of their menu is great. You can’t go wrong with the noodle dishes, fries rice, and meat entrees. However, the sesame chicken is exceptionally good. It’s perfectly crispy and covered in sauce. You can get plain fried rice on the side and combine the two for a great meal.

The wait time is usually above 10 or 15 minutes, but that’s worth it for the freshly cooked steaming food.

This restaurant is probably one of the best halal Chinese restaurants in Dallas.

The menu Magnolan beef, but what I got was basically an onion celebration. I had to dig around like an archaeologist just to find a single piece of meat. The onions were so strong my eyes watered before the first bite. Impressive commitment to the theme, though.

Zabiha halal Chinese food in the heart of Plano?! Yes please!! We were so happy to stumble upon Crescent Moon while out thrifting in the area. The DFW halal scene is still heavy on hot chicken and coffee shops, so this place felt like a refreshing and delicious change of pace.

The restaurant is small, cozy, and unassuming, with Al Jazeera playing on the TV and a steady stream of folks coming in for big takeout orders. There’s also an extra room tucked away for larger groups or Ramadan nights, which is a nice touch.

Service was minimal but efficient—straightforward and to the point, which honestly was fine by us. Our food came out hot, fresh, and fast.

We ordered the most-recommended dishes: Mongolian beef and sesame chicken, both served with a generous bowl of fluffy white rice in a cool warming dish. The Mongolian beef had a little kick, and the sesame chicken was flavorful and satisfying. Portion sizes were large, and we devoured most of it between the two of us. They also provide hot chili crisp and sweet & sour sauce on the side, which was great for dipping!

Drink options are limited to canned sodas or bottled water—nothing fancy, but it gets the job done.

Only critique: the menu is extensive (which is exciting!) but a bit hard to navigate. No pictures or descriptions, so unless you’re already familiar with certain dishes, you might feel a little lost. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, insha’Allah.

All in all, Crescent Moon is a hidden halal gem—great for when you’re craving hearty Chinese comfort food without the guesswork of whether it’s zabiha. Highly recommend giving it a try.

Went there after a long time but this place did not disappoint. Their chicken corn soup , sesame chicken, cashew nut chicken and noodles were really good. The only thing I did not like is the amount of onions in the beef with green onion. Beef was tasting good but there were more onions than meat in the dish. Overall experience was really good this time.
